Dear Pushkar,
Here are some tips to solve conics section -
Firstly don't street on conic section too much. If you know the formula and concept, you will surely do it.
- Memorise all the formulae.
- Solve questions from NCERT.
- After that go for Cengage book on co ordinate geometry and also refer to Arihant's co ordinate geometry book.

There isnt much like Tricks or something in chapters, it is about how well you understand the concept and remember the formula So that you can apply both accordingly as per the question requirement.
