see if you dont want to appear in jee mains exam or any other competittative exam test, then you might loose the chance to get admission in top ranked engineering institutes in india. however there is TNEA counselling which is conducts by anna university. almost 500+ telengana state government and private institute participate in this counselling process, which is based on 10+2 course marks criteria. not only telegana state students, other state students may also participate in this counselling process.
