ESR test results is measured in millimetres per hour (mm/hr).
If we talk about normal results of ESR test then following are considered as normal test :-
Women of age under 50 should hava a ESR between 0 to 20 mm/hr, while the Men who's age is under 50 years should have a ESR between 0 to 15 mm/hr.
ESR stands for ERYTHROCYTE SEDIMENTATION RATE.
It is a type of blood test which measures that how quickly ERYTHROCYTE, red blood cells, settled at the bottom of test tube that contains a sample of blood.
Normally blood cells settled relatively slow while if they settled quickly then it indicates inflammation in body.
