In JEE Mains the rules is fixed and prescribed i.e for every correct answer you will be awarded with +4 marks and for wrong answer your-1 marks will be deducted. Whereas in Jee Advance it depends as ler the section for some sections it will be like +5 and -2 and for some section it will be like +3 and -2 whereas for a single section there will not be any negative marking. Overall, this marking scheme will may sometimes depend upon the conducting authorities of IIT-JEE also. So be prepared with that.

Jee mains Paper 1 consists of 90 questions with 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.4 marks is awarded for each correct response made by you and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong response.

JEE mains exam consist of 30 -30 questions of each subjects physics ,math , chemistry .
In which when you select a option and that is right then you will be alloted +4 marks for that question.
And when you select a wrong answer then you will get -1 mark that means 1 marks will be deducted from your total marks .thanks
