    • If you belong to General or OBC category, then you need 75% aggregate marks in your 10+2 to become eligible for admission in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs through JEE MAINS.
    • A relaxation of 10% is given to SC/ST and PwD students.
    Or
    • If you are among the top 20 percentile of your Board, then also you are eligible to get admission in various NITs,IIITs and GFTIs through JEE-Mains.
    If you fulfill any of the criteria above, then you are eligible to take admission through JEE-Mains.

    Im in the top 20 percentile.....my PHYSICS and chem  marks wont affect anything right?

    If you are among top 20 percentile, then no need to worry as there is no such thing as sectional minimum percentage criteria in admission. Your overall marks or percentile is considered.
