The IIT JEE will accept the board marks only if you have cleared the required cutoff in boards to get this examination eligibility. If you haven't cleared the cutoff then you can give the improvement test again. I will suggest you to apply for other exams like WBJEE or BCECE to get some percentage relaxation in these exams.
