GLA University is a State University in Mathura with private ownership that was established in the year 2010. The university offers a total of 93 courses that are offered across the diploma, UG, PG and doctoral levels. Admissions to all the courses are offered through different entrance tests prescribed by the university. On the basis of the performance of the students in these entrance tests, they are also offered scholarships of varying amounts. Out of the total 93 courses, 9 courses are offered at the diploma level, 42 courses are offered at the UG level, 26 courses at the PG level and 16 courses are offered at the doctoral level. M.B.A course at the university is offered across 6 specialisations and the fee structure for the same ranges from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 8,95,000. GLA University Admissions

Admissions at GLA University, Mathura are offered to students who fill the online application form from the official website of the university. For GLA University UG admissions, applicants must appear for and clear GLAET (GLA Entrance Test). For M.B.A and M.Pharm admissions, preference of admission will be given to students with CAT/MAT/XAT/UPSEE and GPAT scores, respectively. For Ph.D admissions, applicants will have to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university itself. Selected students will have to visit the campus for verification of documents and payment of admission fee.

GLA University Placements

The placement cell of the university is known as the Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell). GLA placement cell contacts various recruiters through email and invites them to the campus for recruitment. Meanwhile, the cell grooms and prepares students for the interviews through means of workshops, mock interviews, GD’s and other such things. These recruiters then conduct their final round of interviews with the students on campus. The students who are able to get through all the GDs, PI and tests are offered jobs by the recruiters.

GLA University Scholarships

Scholarships at GLA University, Mathura are offered to students with good scores in the entrance exams that they appear for during admission. Scholarships are given to B.Tech students according to the score brackets and the amount of the scholarships varies accordingly. Other scholarships include JEE Main Scholarship, B.Pharm Scholarships, M.Tech Scholarships, M.Pharm Scholarships, and others. Students from different categories like SC/ST/OBC can avail different scholarships through the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag of UP Govt.

GLA University Facilities

The closest railway station to the university is Mathura Junction Station, at a distance of 19.6 km, taking 22 minutes to cover the distance.
