Being a student of Sharda, I have been here for about 3 years and I feel these are the best time of my life. I chose Sharda University as it is one of the best private University in India consisting students from 55+ countries, so it has really good international exposure as we are able to interact with different nationalities and learn something about them. moreover, Sharda has best infrastructures and faculties are very much supportive in every possible way. We are being provided with different training and seminars so as to build a professional personality. Every year students work hard along with university to organize fests like Chorus and Contrivance which provides the platform for students to showcase their talents.

so, the tag line for sharda is "the world is here" and the crowd of sharda university is very diverse in terms of students that comes from around the world.Presently students from 27+ countries are studying in sharda university. and moreover, Every year a lot of student goes out from sharda and alot of students from other countries come to sharda for further studies in student exchange program. Infrastructure here is world class as in accordance to the lifestyle of people of foreign countries. Every year national and international students together form a society for technical fests in college and come to work together and learn alot from each other. that is where i think sharda university is different from other universities. Hostels here are no less than 5 star rooms that you would experience if you would come and visit the campus. Professors here, are also qualified to make a student's future. Most of the student crowd comes from NCR and international crowd from different countries of africa and nepal, mexico and a lot of other countries. I hope this helps you. :)

Sharda University is a 64-acre multidisciplinary campus having international student from 56+ countries. Though the admission fee is a bit high but it is reasonable as you get proper facilities. It's a good college with a lot of opportunities for the students in co-curricular areas. It is a bit far from metro stations but has no transportation issues. All the faculty members are very skilled and cooperative. The environment is happening yet studious. I just feel spending the maximum time with friends in our small world i.e. Sharda University.

Okay I have to say that the campus is very beautifully built from Classes to Labs & Hostels to management Building! Everything is quite beautiful. Food services are also very good! As for the placement it is average with some good companies coming for Recruitment every year. Go for it if you want to live in a good city & you are out of options!

The world is here

The university gives a platform to interact with students from various countries, know their culture, their food, learn about their habits and get a global exposure living in greater Noida. On professional point of view, you are trained to deal with different flavors of people and on personal point of view you have friends in many parts of the world. Hence the university could actually boast about the fact “The world is here. Where are you ?” The university gives a wide platform to perform, coordinate in making one of the best cultural fest in the region. However there is no proper coaching provided for various activities. The university also organizes a sports fest called Ojasvat and also is a participant of the AIU events. If you really want to be a good professional there are all the resources, decent labs, good infrastructure and young energetic faculty to support you only if you are in search of knowledge. The hostel is good, nice rooms, good furniture, clean environment , fully Wi-Fi campus. If you want to enjoy your college life alongwith studies then this place is excellent.

Everything should be taken lineant there becoz of bad atmosphere of studies and the lack of good proffesors. So i recomend all who so ever wants to study just not to take admission in sharda.

My college helped me grow up quite nicely. It helped me to explore life with a lot broader aspect and also to get mature in the course of life. If i talk about studies, the faculty is good, they are helpfull. Way of teaching is good but its not more than good. It can be better. College is quite good in strictness and also in giving freedom to students. All in all I am having a good experience with my college. The only thing i dislike about my college is that it is quite far away and situated in an remote kind of area( not so developed) so it lacks in some of the facilities.

My college has the best facilities. The admission fees is very high but when you get that level of facilities you are satisfied. Hostel food is also very good. Faculty is very supportive. Students here come from across the world. We have very big campus, grounds, canteens, basketball court, table tennis courts, swimming pool, cricket ground and lots more. In all except the fees all other things are very good.

I am in second year of college pursuing B.Tech. in computer sciences. I have many expectations as an engineer but Sharda university isn't fulfilling them out. I am watching my seniors getting very poor placements and most of them aren't getting any. We are paying so much but getting nothing in return.Though college life is amazing with good bunch of friends.

Pros: 1) The Industry Academia Connect Programme helps in placement. 2) It has joint research collaboration with number of reputed institutions which helps in research work. 3) Different people across the global take admission in college which gives the opportunity to interact with people from different places. Cons: 1) High fee structure 2) No tie-up with big companies for placement or internship

Enjoyable experience, learning a lot from my college

“Being a second-year student, I want to share my college experience. My college is having a well-developed infrastructure. The faculty is nice with punctual, determined, and cooperative lecturers. Workshops and seminars on various topics are organized by the college from time to time for practical knowledge and better development of students. There is a well-equipped reading room in the library and a vast collection of books. Placement is fine and also, the college helps first and second-year students in getting worthy internships. Hostels are available in good quantity so there is no problem for outstation students as they don't need to depend on PGs. There's a different hostel for foreign students. Canteen is nice in terms of sitting space and menu both. Also, it is well ventilated. Overall ,I'm enjoying my college life. The crowd is good and their company is enjoyable.”

The college is located far from the metro station as well as bus stop. But the college provides a very good conveyance facility for day scholars. The university gave me a platform to interact with students from various countries, know their culture, their food, learn about their habits and get a global exposure as well. But the average placements and package per year are not up to the mark. Faculty members are good. The college has a hospital, temple and good options of a cafeteria.

Sharda university is a huge campus stretched across 63 acres of land. Students of different nationalities are studying in this university,so it's quite a diverse university. The infrastructure is average. Classrooms and labs are fine. Each school has its own library.Oh well,I forgot to tell Sharda university has 12 schools for different courses. One can find almost every book easily. There is also a digital library where one can get the link to that book. Lifts are provided on every floor. Teachers are quite good but personally I am not satisfied with the computer science faculties. Teachers do have higher degree qualifications but not able to make the concepts clear and in fact, they themselves get confused. But with the bad ones, there are good ones too who are highly qualified plus friendly and are really awesome. They are always ready to help to clear your concepts without judging you. The placement cell of our university is quite dedicated in getting the students placed in reputed companies. Recently, our University has tied up with IBM regarding two industrial courses which are really the need of the hour- 1. CLOUD COMPUTING and 2. BIG DATA ANALYTICS. Students will be provided with an IBM certification and will be trained under the supervision of IBM. Seminars and guest lectures are held regularly and of course not to forget the workshops. There are five hostels, I guess- three for girls and two for boys. Hostel provided all the facilities to the students and the staff - starting from laundry to providing with heaters in winters. Talking about the mess food, well none of my friends has complained about it. Fests and cultural programs are really amazing and organised quite regularly.

Great Infrastructure mixed with decent education

The university has a great deal of infrastructure. Right from labs to games it has a lot of option for students. The canteen is well enough and provides decent food. Corporate exposure can be strengthened by increasing industry visits and inviting industry professionals for guest lectures or workshops. The best part that made college life enjoyable was diverseness in students. we have students from each and every corner of India and even from foreign countries. The thing that disappointed me was that after initial flurry all the companies coming for placement had BPO profile as job listing. from hostels I expected better food. that was the only thing lacking in hostels. In college professors, we expected more concentration of practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. Student crowd was great and educating. The university is affordable to upper middle class. because in addition to tuition fees there are a lot of extra expenses.

The faculty in the law department and basic science and research department as well is extremely good in every perspective. They put efforts in every way possible for the students and their exposure. The studies level is excellent. Even at a college level, PTM is held which lets a parent know about their ward. Just the issue is with the administration it takes them too long to settle everything and even then there remain issues.

Sharda provides with all time free and comfortable environment with least boundation. There must be more emphasis on coding than on theory. Include less, but relevant subjects. What Quality Time means I experienced at sharda. Sharda needs its students to try at their level as Sharda has a good placement drive . College hostels need to look after student needs and not only their budgets, like wifi usage limit and speed. College head representatives need to be polite and helpful and not like "Mei hi sab kuch hu". Student diversity provides a great way of interaction and developing connections within other areas of country and continents. I think that sharda is a headache for average income families i.e NOT affordable.

Located in Knowledge Park III of Greater Noida, Sharda University is one of the popular universities in this region. If you're travelling by Metro, then Noida Sector 18 (one of the furthest stops on the eastern side of Blue Line) is the nearest station. From here, you'll have to take a smooth 40 to 45-minute ride by the bus that plies along the expressway and drops you off at Pari Chowk, from where once more you'll have to take a share-rickshaw to the college.
