The campus infrastructure is functional but outdated. Classrooms are basic, and tech facilities (labs, Wi-Fi) are limited and often slow. The library is small, and there is a noticeable lack of modern resources. Maintenance is sporadic.

The college's placement record is a major concern. The few reputable, high-paying companies participate in campus drives. The companies that do visit offer salary packages that are substantially below market rate, often forcing graduates into non-relevant or unstable positions. The career development center is understaffed and lacks critical industry connections, providing inadequate training, interview preparation, or alumni mentorship necessary for securing quality employment opportunities.
Given the high tuition fees and the poor return on investment (ROI), the college offers extremely poor value for money. Lackluster infrastructure, outdated curriculum, and dismal placement records mean the high cost is not justified by the benefits or career prospects received. It's an overpriced education.
Campus life is severely restricted due to overly strict and archaic rules enforced by the administration. There is a lack of student freedom and minimal opportunities for extracurricular activities, social clubs, or independent cultural events, creating a dull and controlled environment.
The campus is quite spacious and spread across a large area with a mix of academic building, play areas and common spaces. Lab facilities are quite good but still some improvement is needed in the labs.
Academics are no doubt very good . We used to go to college in 9am in the morning and ends in 5pm constant. There is no gap except tiffin time. All the faculties are very strict when it comes to study .
The placement quality is good.College is supportive about placement and specially the placement head of UEM campus is an outstanding person. Minimum 60 percent students get placement . The average salary was offeref 4 lpa.
As it is an autonomous university the course fee is getting high every year.I must say the course fee is geting too much expensive for an ordinary family. But ultimately it will be worthy if the student get placement.
For a college student who has high expectation for his/her college life ,i would say don't expect too much. Because after you entering the college, you will definately feel that the school life was much better than that!!!! But when you are in the campus ,you don; have to worry about your safety .This campus has the best point which is anti-ragging ,so parents will be relived.
Yes, our college had all the necessary infrastructure like classrooms, libraries and a good playing area. Our college had a very good reputation in studies and in sports. The food here is very hygenic and well-cooked. We can also access the internet connection. There are three to four computers in our library which can be used anytime we want.
The quality of teaching is very good. The professors here are very nice to the students. The questions given by the professors are all come to our semesters exam. Actually, I am studying BBA which is basically Bachelor of Business and Administration because I think this college had a very nice environment and good placement process.
The quality of placements at our college is average. Around sixty percentage of students are placed at different organization every year. The highest salary package offered to a BBA student is 2.5 lakh to 3 Lakh and the average package is 1.5 lakh. The placement is not so easy as we have to give three rounds to get the job. Our college is supportive as they give suggestions before the company comes i our college campus.
Our college course costs approx 1 lakh/ year. Our college also provides free linked in learning and coursera courses for any courses as we can wish. They provide desktops in our library room with free internet access which we can use any time we want. They provide Economic Times and the Times of India from second year in which we can get latest business and sports updates.
Our college starts from 9'o clock from the morning to 4 pm in the evening. From 9 to 4 pm, we can only go outside in the lunch break. Students can engaged in various sporting activities like basketball, carrom boards and football. They maintain a strict displicine like not to go outside during the college hours and maintain 75% attendance compulsory to every department.
The tables are not so good in the classroom. There should be atleast three ACs in the big classrooms and two AC's in the small classrooms. I personally think that the college is taking a lot of semesters fees but not giving our basic needs like getting a good placement in a very reputated organization. We have to always wear a black boot and our college tie in the college premises.
Outstanding infrastructure but often students are not allowed to use certain machines or equipments even in technical fests. For student aid projects we have to go through a bunch of questioning panel before being approved.
Professors are well educated but they lack teaching skills and interactions from students. 6months semester is completed in 3-4months. Teaching basics of a programming language and giving projects individually to develop applications and websites. Even some teachers are allotted to teach subjects which is out of their knowledge.
Worst placement department ever. No information, no briefing, no detail, no guidance. Blaming students for not getting placed due to their lack of interest in studies but the real fact is almost every exam is easy for us but still one a few selected ones move ahead. I answered with 100% accuracy in cognizant digital nurture still i didn't get a callback. Now whose fault is it! Mine? Mindtree came as a mass recruiter and took only 2 students. Devastating management of placement activities.
6,21,200 INR all in waste. 75,000/- semester. Labs has equipment which is from the stone age. Only one cultural fest that too being a overhyped one. Seminars being conducted without hands on experience, just lectures to students in weekends.
Worst. No fun. 9.30am - 5.00pm timing. No personal space and hobby to fulfill. Just home to college and college to home. Social life has vanished after joining this institution. Seeing friends who were far behind you in school(im not judging, just saying) getting placed before you.
I guess its enough.
Pretty Decent as a Engineering college. Not a very huge campus I must say but decent enough to fit all the domains. Could have been a bit more organised I feel like. Pretty Decent place for engineering college.
My domain Biotechnology can have better labs. Cleaner labs are needed with a bit more helpful lab equipments organization. Things could have been a bit more easier. Also the machinary are pretty old.
Biotechnology is as equivalent to no placements. MNCs are coming. Outskirts companies are less, start-ups are not coming & medium to good placement is there but in the end to get it you've to work on your own.
Overly extra charging fees
Good Friends

This is university is definitely value for money
Good but the uniform and time restraints is still something that needs to go away
Overall Infrastructure of UEM is average. The rooms are non air conditioned and Computer are not up to date at that time. It should be improved and the Toilet should be improved. But yes Wifi facility is there. Sports facility is available in the basement.
Academics are good compared to other colleges and you need to have proper uniform to enter into the campuss. In the classrooms you will get to acces the projector and the teacher will teach you with the help of it. Overall Academics are good.
Placements are totally depends on job market conditions. Still IEM-UEM Group gives good placements compared to other Group of colleges. Mock interview and other placement criteria take place in every aspect. overall placements are good.
If I say about value for money for money Then I can say Its not at all Valoue for money. For good placements and strict curriculum you have to pay a good amount in this university. I was a BCA student and I paid Rs 57,000 per sem *6 (6 semesters). Now the fees are Rs 65,000 per semester.

Very average placement packages as it is a tier 3 college , last year almost 70% were placed and the highest package was 14 lpa and the average package was like 4-5 lpa . The cse department gets good packages usually.
Yes
Average
Normal tier 3 college infrastructure , but ut has good labs , many classrioms which are airconditioned but some time we have to sit with 200 other students in combined class 9ther wise the college is ok .
The academics of the college are good the cse branch is very good , the cse teachers are tooo helping , they are always there to clear our doubts . The cse degree is having a lot more job option now days.
The placements of the college is average , like other tier 3 college . Last year 60% students were placed the average package of the college is 5-6 lpa and the max was like around 12-14 lpa package last year .
I dont think so it couldhave been better .
Bad as the college is too strict
Dear aspirant,
For getting a B Tech you need a minimum of 70 percentage in 10th and 12th with PCM in 12th. For BBA it's 60 percentage and BBA LLB Hons and BHHM it's 50 percentage. For, all bachelor's courses IEMJEE score is also an important selection criteria.
Hope this helps.
