NIT Durgapur MTech Admission Dates 2026

Yes, the GATE 2026 results were released on March 19, 2026. The GATE 2026 result includes scores out of 1000, marks out of 100, All India Rank (AIR), and category-wise qualifying marks. Students can download the official GATE scorecard from March 27, 2026, onwards. Candidates can check the GATE 2026 result through the GOAPS portal using their login credentials.

At the UG level, the institute offers a total of 11 courses. The B.Tech course is offered across 8 specialisations, and the B.Tech M.Tech course is offered across 2 specialisations. BTech course is offered for 4 years, and the BTech+ MTech is offered for 5 years.

• Students seeking UG admissions must apply by filling out the online application form.

• Applicants will have to appear for JEE Main.

• After attaining a valid score in JEE Mains, students need to register and attend JoSAA counselling.

• During the round of counselling, candidates must choose NIT Durgapur as their first preference.

NIT Durgapur PhD Admission Process  

• Interested candidates have to apply for the Ph.D courses at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur by filling out the online application form.

• The applicants will have to appear for the viva and written examination that will be conducted by the institute.
