As you will be knowing that all the participating institution will release their own cut offs for each of the programs after the declaration of results.

And the cutoffscore varies each year based on the difficulty level of the paper and the availability of seats as well as the overall performance of the candidates appearing for the examination.

Factors effecting the Cutoffs:

  • Number of students who appear for exam
  • Level of difficulty of exam
  • Total number of seats available

A total of 36,000 seats are expected to be filled in 104 participating colleges of  WBJEE this year.

As per as your rank in SC category you have chance if getting these many branches:

  • Architecture
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Construction Engineering
  • Food Technology And Bio Chemical Engineering
  • Instrumentation Engineering/Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Power Engineering/Power Plant Engineering
  • Printing Engineering/Printing Technology
  • Production Engineering

Thank You & All the best!

Hello Sayantan Dasgupta.

If your genereal wabjee rank is 2051, then as per the cutoff of the year 2018 , apart from Architecture, B-pharma and food technology , the chances are very less that you will get Jadavpur university.

The cutoff for rest branches closes maximum around 1800 till round 3.

For furthur queries you can check which branches you might get by clicking the link below

Since you have scored 16031 in wbjee and your obc-b rank is 966 in the year 2019, you can surely get Jadavpur University when your obc-b rank is under consideration.

Now apart from the two branches :- Computer science and engineering and electronics and communication(this one you might even get) , you can get all the branches if you wait till round 3.

You can even check our college predictor for furthur confirmation by clicking the link below

Yeah Soumi Sarkar, with 7378 rank in WBJEE, you had a decent chance to get admission in Jadavpur University. As it also depends on the category to which you belongs. But with 7378 rank, you had a decent chance to get admission in Jadavpur University. Best of luck.
