The campus has an old university field, but that is actually part of its charm. There are libraries, classrooms, Wi-Fi facilities, Auditorium, sports areas and other useful student facilities. The department also has its own department with a large collection of books. Some parts could definitely be more modern, but overall, the environment is suitable for regular studies and reading.

Academic is probably one of the biggest and there. The English department goes beyond just studying, prescribe, poems and novels. Students get exposed to literature, culture, translation, theatre, creative, writing, and different areas of critical study. Overall, I would give Jadavpur University four star for BA English. The strongest points are the academic reputation, experience, faculty environment, Library sources, and the kind of exposure available to humanity. May not the biggest attraction for this particular course, but for students who value literature, independent, thinking and strong University atmosphere, it is a very good choice

Jadavpur University is one of best college for M.Tech Information Technology in India. Separate hostels, smart classrooms, research lab, computer lab, central library, college canteen and large playground are available in our college.

Professors are basically working in research of many types of software. Computer graphics, Automata theory, multimedia technology, advance programme like java, python and C+, game launching theory are main parts of our course.

At about 90-95% students get placement on campus in every batch. At about 8-10 LPA is the average salary package after joining. Microsoft, Above, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, JSW group, Amazon are main recruiters of our college.

Jadavpur University is one of the best engineering college in India. Separate hostel, ground facility, departmental lab, central library, smart classrooms, auditorium, college canteen, computer labs were also available in our college.

I studied B.E in Information Technology from this college. Data structure, database, multimedia, software, artificial intelligence, software programming were main parts of our syllabus. Professors were very knowledgeable and experienced.

After completing B.E of Information Technology, 90% students get placement on campus in Jadavpur University. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant were main recruiters in our college. Average package in starting was average 10-12 LPA.

I find the college infrastructure quite satisfactory for engeeniring studies. The labs, libraries, and academic facilities met my learning needs and provide a pretty productive environment which is ideal for us.

The academic experience is enriching for all, the curriculum encourages analytical thinking and problem solving. The faculty is super supportive and and motivate the students to explore concepts deeply, and not just theory.

I feel that the placement opportunities are promising, especially for students who remain consistent with their efforts in academics and skill development, but ofcourse a student needs self preparation. seniors have said the recruitment process was quite smooth last time.

In my opinion, the university offers fair value for money, The affordable fees combined with the strong academic exposure making it a worthwhile experience for the students, especially for engineeiring students.

I really enjoy the campus life because of the active student community, cultural activities, and technical events. It offers a good balance between academics and extracurricular involvement..i think even the location is a prime spot.

Overall, my college experience was good. However, I feel the college should have offered more extracurricular activities and opportunities for students to participate beyond academics. More clubs, events, and competitions would have made the experience even better.

Academics were good and manageable. The curriculum was well-structured, and the faculty explained concepts clearly. The workload was balanced, making it possible to maintain a good academic performance with consistent effort.

AC does not work. The seats are placed too closely to each other. Movement becomes very restricted. Canteen space has no ac, cleanliness is minimal. No rooms where you can study during free classes. Library requires to keep phone and laptop outside.

Very average course outline. No care for personalization or specialization. Teachers are decent. Very exam and grade centric. No focus on experiential learning. No provision for internship opportunities.

Vary bare minimum. No support for higher education focus. No alumni base. No scope of networking. No industry exposure, guest lectures, or tours. No peer learning or exchange programs. Very old school style.

For the price they charge, the resources they provide is barely anything. It is one of the most expensive college in kolkata, and the value provided is probably one of the least. It is more like a college for rich business kids.

Barely any. All kids are from similar context and background. There is no exposure, no peer to peer learning system. The canteen offers a good variety of menu but the quality is questionnable. Poor conditions.

No proper cleaning of washrooms, no proper washroom even. Lack of infrastructure development and fundcuts are consistent. There has to be proper electricity facilities and benches as well as AC s are needed.

The professors are gems.The atmosphere is great.Love the learning procedure but there's no transparency in case of marks division. But Professors are the best in the state and arguably in the country as well.

B Tech ger best placements not BA. For Arts , there's no active placement cell.There has been movements for a permanent placement cell , but the hope is bleak , the authorities are reluctant. And nothing changes.

I study for a whole year and pay just just 950/- INR. This is a public university, hence it is a great value for money

Atmosphere is too good , liberal people , apart from infrastructure there's nothing wrong.

We have smart boards, departmental libraries, central library, auditoriums, free wifi, modern research laboratories and computer hubs having advanced software and infrastructures. Canteen, hostel facilities, cheap stationary stores are also available in the campus.

We have an incredible faculty base. One professor got his book published from Oxford Publishing House, another professor taught earlier at London School of Economcs. Others professors have also written well-aclaimed research papers in various renowned journals. The syllabus is also of quite high standard.

Placement is around 100%. Many prominent companies come to participate in placement activities. IBM, PWC, Genpact are some of the famous companies that have recruited our students in the past years...

The course cost is rs 1150 per year.. Quality education is provided at very low cost.

Various academic and non-academic fests are organised in the university.. Many clubs are also there where extra-curricular activities are practiced.
