Classrooms are decent and the campus is fairly assumes. Labs and library are usable, though some equipment feels outdated. Wi-Fi and maintenance can be hit-or-miss, but overall it’s manageable for daily college life.
Most faculty are supportive if you approach them, and the syllabus is okay for building basics. Learning depends a lot on self-study and practice. Some classes feel routine, but projects and labs help if you take them seriously.
Placement opportunities exist, mainly for students with good skills, projects, and communication. Some companies offer average packages, and mass recruiters show up too. Internships and off-campus efforts matter a lot, so start early and prepare well.
Fees feel okay for the facilities and exposure you get, but you must use resources well to make it worth it. If you stay consistent with skills, certifications, and projects, the ROI can be good; otherwise it may feel average.
Campus life is chill—clubs, events, and fests happen and you can have fun with friends. It’s not “crazy big-university” vibes, but there’s enough to stay engaged if you participate and build your circle.

The infrastructure at Techno India University is characterized by a modern, high-rise urban design situated in the bustling IT hub of Sector V, Salt Lake. Unlike traditional universities with sprawling green fields, the campus is compact and vertically oriented, featuring fully air-conditioned buildings that provide a necessary respite from Kolkata's heat. The faculty members are generally approachable and possess strong academic backgrounds, though the learning experience is often self-driven due to the large batch sizes in popular streams

Got it — you want a sample review of “College Infrastructure” following the style guidelines (with a rating and a 200+-character description) similar to what’s used on Careers360. Here’s an example template you might use (you can adapt it to your college): Rating (out of 5): 4.0/5 College Infrastructure: The campus buildings are relatively new, with well-ventilated classrooms, adequate lighting and clean blackboards. The lecture halls are spacious enough for 60–70 students each, and most rooms are equipped with functioning fans (and a few even have air-conditioning). The library has a decent collection of textbooks and reference volumes relevant to our courses, though some newer editions seem missing. Labs (for computer, physics and chemistry) are functional and regularly maintained; equipment is sufficient for routine practicals, but heavy-use instruments are limited, which causes delays during peak times. The campus common areas and corridors are kept clean; there are designated areas for drinking water and basic hygiene facilities, though washrooms could use more frequent cleaning. Overall, the infrastructure is solid enough for daily academic needs but could improve by adding more seating in the library and better lab
The academic curriculum is well-structured and up to date, with a good balance between theory and practical work. Professors explain concepts clearly, encourage class participation, and regularly update lecture notes. Assignments and projects are relevant, and evaluation is transparent and fair. The pace of teaching is well-managed — enough time is allotted to digest tough topics, while coverage remains thorough. Course material includes recommended reference books and supplemental reading, enabling students to deepen their understanding. Regular internal assessments and timely feedback help track performance. Overall, academics here leave little to complain — strongly supportive for learning and growth.
Here are three sample “Placements” reviews (with ratings + ≥ 200-character descriptions) you can adapt to your college. --- Rating (out of 5): 4.0/5 Placements: The college’s placement scenario is reasonably good overall. Many students get internship opportunities from third year onward, which helps build real-world skills and improves employability. The highest placement offers are competitive for core and IT-service roles, and a fair number of students get placed each batch. That said, the average package tends to be modest — not everyone lands top offers, and some branches see fewer campus recruiters. The placement cell tries to organize drives regularly, but frequency and company diversity could be improved. Internship-to-full-time offer (PPO) conversions are occasional but not guaranteed. --- Rating (out of 5): 3.0/5 Placements: Placements are hit-or-miss depending on branch and individual preparation. For some streams, campus companies visit and hire a fair share of students, but others see minimal recruitment activity. The average package is mediocre, and a small fraction of students end up with good offers — many end up seeking off-campus jobs or further studies. Internships are offered to some but not all, and often the roles are generic rather than specialized. Soft-skill training and placement preparation sessions exist but are irregular, which leaves many students underprepared. Overall, the placement record is acceptable but leaves room for better support and transparency. --- Rating (out of 5): 2.0/5 Placements: Placement support is weak and inconsistent. Few companies visit campus, and among those, selection is often extremely limited — many eligible students don’t get any offer. The average package is low; highest packages exist but are rare outliers, making them unrealistic benchmarks for most students. Internship opportunities are scarce, and even when offered, they rarely lead to full-time jobs. The placement cell seems disorganized, with drives poorly planned and communication lacking, leaving many students scrambling for jobs independently. For students aiming for stable post-graduation employment via campus placement
Given the modest infrastructure and uneven academic or placement support, the fees feel somewhat steep. Facilities exist but need frequent maintenance; lab resources or library collections often seem limited. Many students—especially from less sought-after streams—don’t feel the perks match the fees they pay. Considering alternatives with similar or lower fees but better returns, this college feels below par in terms of value-for-money
The campus life here is vibrant and engaging. Freshers’ events, club activities, cultural fests, and sports days make the atmosphere lively and inclusive. There are enough common areas — a student lounge, open lawns, and eating joints — where people hang out after classes. Hostel accommodation and mess facilities (for those staying on campus) are generally adequate and reasonably maintained.
Well developed infrastructure and both computer and biotech labs are well equipped. Wifi is available with 24/7 cctv surveillance and have got seminar halls for conducting conference and also have canteen with good quality food
The college’s academic facilities foster a productive and innovative atmosphere, promoting both theoretical and practical learning. While occasional improvements in maintenance and expansion of digital resources could further strengthen the infrastructure, the current facilities are more than satisfactory and contribute significantly to students’ academic growth and success.
The college’s placement record shows moderate to good outcomes. A significant proportion of eligible students secure campus offers, suggesting the efforts of the placement cell are bearing fruit. However, the packages are on the modest side when compared with top institutions
Yes highly recommended
The college supports student well-being, sense of community, and participation in clubs and extracurriculars at a good level
My college have all the necessary infrastructure like proper labs, big classrooms, library, a big seminar hall with proper sitting arrangement and capacity, well hygienic canteen, grounds for play any sports.
Currently I'm studying in 3rd year of B.Tech Computer science & business system. The quality of teaching is quite well & impressive. The faculty members are very good, well educated & very helpful. And this course includes also business system which make us also ready for starting a business or startup alongside with job sector.
According to my knowledge, I have came to know that the placement rate of past few years of my college is quite good. Also I had came to know from my seniors that almost 40% student have got their placement at the very first stage of the placement at very good company with a good package.
My course costs at around 1.62 lakhs per year. And I think it's a value for money course because we're getting a good knowledge about business strategies, market alongside with technology, coding. So it's definitely a value for money course to me.
The best feature of our college is that we have 3 different types of canteen inside our campus. We also have 3 grounds where we can enjoy, talk and also can play different games. The students, teachers and support staffs are very good. The location is quite well and safe because of being inside a IT industry area.
Hello, Techno India University is a pretty decent choice for data science in Kolkata. They offer specialized programs (B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc) and generally have the necessary labs and infrastructure. Being in Kolkata is also a plus for potential internships and job opportunities.
