GCETTS Serampore Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

The Government College of Engineering Textile Technology, Serampore offers admission to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The courses offered in the GCETTS include B.Tech. and M.Tech. The GCETTS UG admissions are based on the performance of the candidate in the WBJEE examination. The GCETTS PG selection process is based on the performance of the candidate in the GATE/ Post Graduation Entrance Test (PGET). For lateral entry at the 3rd semester UG level for Diploma/Polytechnic/B.Sc, candidates are required to clear the JELET. The candidates must meet the GCETTS eligibility criteria to apply for the courses. The details of the GCETTS registration process is given below.

GCETTS Application Process

• Interested candidates may submit an online application by filling out the form found on the college website.

• Fill all the details required and scan the documents required and upload them.

• Then pay the  GCETTS application fees.

• Submit the application form.

GCETTS UG Admissions 

The college offers B.Tech at undergraduate level. 4 specialisations are offered in B.Tech. The duration of the course is 4 years. 

GCETTS UG Courses, Seat Intake and Eligibility criteria 

GCETTS B.Tech Admission Process 

• The candidates must meet GCETTS B.Tech eligibility criteria.

• The candidates have to appear and qualify the WBJEE examination. 

• Then the candidates have to attend the counselling process.

• Then the candidates must select GCETTS as the preferred college. 

• For lateral entry at the 3rd semester UG level for Diploma/Polytechnic/B.Sc, candidates are required to clear the JELET exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board admissions are provided through centralised counselling by WBJEEB on the basis of merit.

• Then, the candidates must submit the documents and pay the GCETTS fees.

GCETTS PG Admissions 

The college offers M.Tech at postgraduate level. 2 specialisations are offered in M.Tech. The duration of the course is 2 years. 

GCETTS PG Courses, Seat Intake and Eligibility criteria 

GCETTS M.Tech Admission Process 

• The candidates must meet GCET Serampore M.Tech eligibility criteria.

• The candidates have to appear and qualify the GATE examination. 

• The candidates who did not appear for GATE, should write PGET (Post Graduate Entrance Test), which is centrally conducted by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).

• Then the candidates have to attend the counselling process.

• Finally, the admission will be confirmed if the candidate gets the documents verified and pays the GCETTS fees.

• 10th marksheet and certificate

• 12th marksheet and certificate

• Admit card and score card of WBJEE.( For UG courses).

• Admit card and score card of GATE/ PGET ( For PG courses).
