You will be eligible only if you have 6.5 CGPA and if you have minimum 2 years of working experience in industry then only you can give exam and get admission in the first sem or else it won't be possible because these are the basic requirements for giving the exam

Does PU offer MSc economics. if yes, what is the syllabus and eligibilty for the same ?
Panjab University, Chandigarh offers MA Economic for which admission is done via entrance test PU CET PG.
Eligibility is candidate should have passed B.A. with Honours in Economics/B.A. with Economics as an elective subject with 50% marks in aggregate/ Any other equivalent UGC recognized degree
Entrance Test will be conducted for one hour and thirty minutes and it will consist of 75 multi-choice questions of one mark each based on the syllabus provided for the test.
There's negative marking scheme, for each wrong answer marks will be deducted.
Exam pattern will include questions pertaining to the various aspects of Economics as per the following:
Microeconomics - 10 questions
Macroeconomics - 10 questions
Indian Economy - 10 questions
Economics of Growth, Development & Planning - 10 questions
Mathematics and Statistics - 10 questions Econometrics - 10 questions
