my son got 90.4 percentile in jee mains 1 phase, and 87.4 percentile in AEEE24 1 phase,is there any chance that I can seat in coimbatore Amrita csc branch and what are my other chances please explain, thankyou
Hello sir,
Hope you are doing great.
So according to your question, first of all, Amritha University will only accept AEEE, and the cutoff for the CSE course is 96 to 99 percentile. As he got 87.4 percentile, he might not get the seat in CSE.
However, he also secured 90.4 percentile in JEE Mains, which is a very good score, and he can secure more in the second phase, there are very high probabilities for that. So, if he manage to score between 97 to 99 in JEE Phase 2, then he will definitely get IIT or NIT.
So, don't loose hope and don't let him loose the hope.
Thank you!
do I have a chance of getting admission in b tech csc as I have scored 77.9 percentile in jee mains.
Hello Student ,
With 77.9 percentile in JEE Main session 1 considering you as a general category candidate you have tough chances to get admission through JoSAA counselling in institutions like NITs, IIITs and GFTIs . But you can surely try for other state counselling where JEE Main score is acceptable and in some private universities as well .
To check your admission chances through State counselling or in private colleges you can use Careers360 College predictor tool link is given below -

i am expecting JEE main 24 1 day 2nd shift 180 marcks i am obc category. i am expecting any csc seat in top colleges
As per the last year's data your rank will range in between 10746-7152, However every year there will be a shift in the AIR.
Because All India Rank depends on the number of students who has given the exam, percentile in each subject and so many other factors.
But if we check your chances in this range of rank, you might have a chance to get admission into NITs, IIITs for the CS branch.
Also you may have a chance for the equivalent branch.
