Hi aspirant,
It is not at all necessary to appeared for the all three phases of Manipal entrance test. The examination would be held in three phases to offered seats in engineering courses and it completely depends upon the candidate whether he wants to appear for one or more than one phases. Last date for applying is set to be 31st March 2022 and the examination for Phase 1 would be held in the second week of May. Now if you do not want to appear for the Phase 1 of examination and you are not able to registered directly for the phase 2 then you can wait for the conclusion of phase 1 examination as the registrations for phase 2 would open again for sure. Following below mentioned are the steps for applying:

-
Submit details like name, mobile number, email address etc. to complete the registration process.
-
Next, login using generated credentials and fill out the detailed application form.
-
Upload required documents as per specifications.
-
Finally, make the payment of the application fee.
Hope it helps!

Hello mridul,
As you have mentioned that you have got 156/240 in the manipal entrance examination so let me tell you that your predicted rank according to my knowledge would be somewhat around 1k.
In these marks and the predicted rank you have fair chances of getting the tech branches like computer science branch and it's specialisations.

I got 156/240 , is it possible for me to get cse/IT in manipal main campus
Hello,
In 2020 the cut off for admission in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal was as follows in roun 3 of counselling
- Computer Science: 866
- Information Technology: 1985
Considering the previous year cut off you should secure a rank in between 750-950 to get admission in Computer Science and 1900-2100 rank to get admission in Information Technology because the cut off may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
The estimated rank is in between 8000-11000 with the given score. The actual rank may vary depending on the highest score, total number of candidates appeared, tie breakers etc. The actual rank will be published in the form of rank list by the authorities. You have to wait until then.

WHICH IS BEST IN TERMS OF PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY AND STARTUP CULTURE AMRITA OR MANIPAAL JAIPUR
Hi aspirant,
It is important for you to mention which campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as the other campuses are no near to that of Coimbatore or Amritapuri campus. Taking these two in consideration, Manipal Jaipur falls far behind the Amrita University. Nirf University ranking of both colleges are 4 and 39 respectively.
The placements at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is excellent and higher due to tough competition, high reputation in education world. It also has highly active placement cells and student clubs which provide best options for placement and startups. Manipal University, Jaipur is still growing and is a sister college of Manipal campus, the placement here are around 75-80 percent and average packages is also lower in comparison.
Hope it helps !!
I scored 140/240 will I get cse in manipaal main campus??Also what are difference between manipaal main campus and jaipur
No. It is very difficult to get cse/IT at 140 but you may get DSE or ECE.
i got 78/240 in muoet 2021. can i get instrumentation in main campus ?
Greetings of the day
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your MET exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With 98/240, its a bit hard to get Instrumentation branch in their main campus, i.e. Manipal . The cut-off of Instrumentation branch at Manipal campus was 10,906 in the year 2020. Just apply to their counselling process and as it is conducted in different rounds, your chances of securing a seat increases.
