Is it okay for a Medical Graduate to enter into Telecom Management? What are the future prospects or opportunities if any ?
yes telecommunication and mass media does play a vital role in the modern world and if you are thinking about virtualising medical education or medical procedures with the help of telecommunications and that is a different issue all together but unless you are planning on that and you simply wanting to switch streams I don't think career in telecommunication is at all app for a medical graduate since you wouldn't have the basic knowledge of mass communication or telecommunication basics in terms of economy and marketing as well as strategy devices which would be vital and essential for success via telecommunication methods
Ajay medical graduates you are preparing for your post graduation on let's have given up on the idea of doing some specialisation of practicing medicine but also think of hospital management and teaching as you are alternate career options having already invested so much of time and effort in medical sciences and you should think carefully before you decide on Sachin abrupt switch off streams which might land you in cold water altogether down the line
Being a medical graduate and fresher into Management sphere, what CTC should I expect after completing MBA in Telecom Management from SITM ?
Hii Mohana
Being a medical graduate you have switched your field of intrest to telecom managment. But it wont matter a lot as you will still be considered as a fresher, you will have many live projects and presentation that would help you to gain insights about the particular field. As by the placement reports of SITM the average pacakage for a fresher is 9.58 Lakhs. Also keep in mind that the interviewer can ask you questions like why doing MBA being a medical graduate? I would suggest you do as many live projects as possible and also taking your summer internship seriously this would really help you to crack the interview.
Being a Medical Graduate can I apply for a full time MBA in Telecom Management from SITM?Will I be able to cope up with the academics?
I hope this helps you.
All the best!!
