B.design Fashion Designing is basically a fashion designing course.Like if you are interested to pursue a career in designing,fashion technology,different types of designs regarding clothes, etc. It is a 4 year undergraduate course divided into 8 semesters. The last semester is optional for the students to study.You need to have a 10+2 certification from any recognized board with a aggregate marks of 50 percent to apply and also you need to qualify the entrance exams.Many private colleges take direct entry. is a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) qualification with a minimum aggregate score of
50%. The program is spread over 8 semesters, with the final semester being based on the
candidate’s chosen stream of study. Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s

B.Des. in Fashion Design: Admission Process
Mostly in India the, private institutes offering Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design admit
students based on their performance in the High Secondary School exam. However, NIFT
conducts its own entrance exam which is divided into 2 parts:
1. CAT (Creative Ability Test)
2. GAT (General Ability Test)
Students are offered admission based on the cumulative score in these two tests.
