jEE mains ..
Like JEE 2017,JEE 2018 will be conducted in 2 modes-
- Pen and paper mode(offline)
- Computerized mode(online)
The candidates will have a choice of either choosing offline or online mode. Now coming to the question, each mode has its own pros and cons.
Online mode ensures that you don't make silly mistakes like bubbling up the wrong responses, saving the time that you waste in bubbling up your answers. Also you get unlimited paper for rough work.
But at the same time comes with its own cons like you have to click and click to read every question and you won't be able to see the whole paper at a glance and there will be a clock displayed on your screen that may add up to the tension for some candidates.
Also you practice the whole year in pen and paper mode so some candidates may find it uncomfortable to switch onto the online mode and it may affect your performance.
So it varies from person to person. But on a personal note I myself took JEE in offline mode and will recommend you the same.
Good luck.
