All the exams opens opportunity for admissions in various tier one management institutes all around the country however if you have only one option to choose, then I suggest you should go with CAT.
It gives admission into the most premier management institutes, IIMs. All the IIMs have their admission intake from CAT. The next best exam is XAT. It gives admission into premier institute XLRI.

It depends on you totally which college you want to go like for iims you should write CAT, for xlri you should write XAT etc. The most popular out of these is CAT as most of the management colleges accepts cat score and all iims accepts it's score. But again toughness in terms of number of competitors increases in CAT.
