JUET Guna Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET), Guna offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses. Candidates must ensure that they meet the JUET Guna eligibility criteria before applying for admission. JUET Guna B.Tech admission is offered based on JEE Main scores or marks obtained in class 12th. JUET Guna B.Sc (Honours) admission is done based on merit score in class 12th. Candidates desirous of taking JUET Guna M.Tech admission must note that they need to appear for GATE appropriate to the discipline of their qualifying degree. In the case of non-GATE candidates, the university will conduct the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) for admissions. For JUET Guna M.Sc. admission, the selection will be done on the basis of merit. 

JUET Guna PhD admission is done on the basis of Ph.D Entrance Test conducted by the university followed by a personal interview. Candidates who have qualified GATE/SLET/UGC/CSIR (JRF) are given more preference than others. Final admission to the Ph.D programme is based on the performance in the entrance test, interview and overall past academic performance. The last step includes document verification and JUET Guna admission fee payment.

JUET Guna UG Admissions

Jaypee University of Engineering And Technology, Guna offers 13 undergraduate programmes. JUET Guna courses at the UG level include B.Tech, B.Tech Lateral Entry and B.Sc (Hons.). The course duration of the B.Tech programmes is 4 years while B.Tech Lateral Entry and B.Sc (Hons.) courses is 3 years. JUET Guna B.Tech eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science and Mathematics from a recognised board. However, JUET Guna B.Sc (Honours) eligibility criteria is that candidates should have passed the 10+2 exam with 60% marks from a recognised board.

JUET Guna Admission Process- B.Tech/B.Tech Lateral Entry

• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for JUET Guna admission to B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry programmes.

• Next, eligible candidates should complete the JUET Guna application process. 

• Candidates can get admission to the B.Tech programme through two modes only- valid JEE Main scores and merit basis (marks obtained in 10+2 examination).

• For JUET Guna, 50% of seats shall be filled through JEE Main All India Rank and the remaining 50% of seats shall be filled through counselling on the basis of merit drawn based on marks of the 10+2 examination.

• JUET Guna admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry programmes is offered based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination

• There will be separate counselling for JEE Main qualified students and students who want admission through marks obtained in the 10+2 examination.

• Counselling dates are updated on the official website of the university and the same shall be notified to shortlisted students via email only.

• Later, candidates must verify their documents and pay the JUET Guna admission fees for the final selection.

JUET Guna B.Sc (Honours) Admission Process

• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for JUET Guna B.Sc (Honours) admission.

• Eligible students must fill the application form on the official website of JUET Guna.

• JUET Guna admission to B.Sc. (Hons) programmes is offered on the basis of merit (marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2)).

• Merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared and selected candidates will be offered admission

JUET Guna PG Admissions

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna offers a total of nine postgraduate programmes. The postgraduate courses offered by JUET Guna are M.Tech and M.Sc. The duration of the M.Tech and M.Sc programmes is 2 years. The JUET Guna M.Tech eligibility criteria is that Candidates should hold B.E./B.Tech. degree in an appropriate branch with at least 60% marks aggregate from any recognised university. Meanwhile, the JUET Guna M.Sc. eligibility criteria is that candidates must have passed  B.Sc. inappropriate subjects from any recognised university.

JUET Guna M.Tech Admission Proces

• First, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and then apply for JUET Guna M.Tech admission.

• Eligible candidates must fill the JUET Guna application form and pay the application fee.

• For JUET Guna M.Tech admissions, candidates have to appear for GATE. In the case of non-GATE qualified candidates, the university will conduct Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) for offering M.Tech admission.

• Candidates are selected based on their performance in GATE or PGET examination.

JUET Guna M.Sc. Admission Process

• Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for JUET Guna M.Sc. admission.

• Eligible candidates have to fill the application form on the university official website.

• Then, candidates who have passed the qualifying exam should provide marks of the qualifying exam along with the application form and attach a photocopy of the marks sheet.  

• A merit will be drawn, on the basis of marks of qualifying examination results.

• Later, selected candidates will be offered provisional admission subject to the production of eligibility certificates and deposition of the academic fee.

JUET Guna Ph.D Admissions

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna offers nine doctoral-level programmes. The doctoral-level courses offered by JUET Guna include Ph.D in nine specialisations. The course duration of JUET Guna PhD courses is 6 years. The JUET Guna PhD eligibility criteria is that candidates must hold an M.Tech degree or equivalent for Ph.D in Engineering/Technology in the respective branch with 55% aggregate marks or CGPA not less than 6 on a scale of 10.

JUET Guna Ph.D Admission Process

• Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step in the JUET Guna Ph.D admission process

• Next, eligible candidates must fill the application form and pay the application fee.

• Candidates have to appear for a Ph.D Entrance Test conducted by the university followed by a personal interview.

• Then, candidates who have qualified in GATE/NET/SLET/UGC/CSIR (JRF) or equivalent national-level examinations are exempted from the Ph.D Entrance Test conducted by the university and have to attend interviews.

• Based on the performance of candidates in the entrance test, they will be notified for the interview round. 

• During the interview, candidates have to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before a duly constituted Department Research Committee.

• The last step includes verification of documents and JUET Guna admission fee payment.
