JUET Guna Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The university has separate hostel blocks for boys. Presently, the university has  20 hostel blocks that can accommodate 2360 students. JUET Guna boys hostel facilities include wardrobes, lights, fans and Internet connectivity and a centralized air cooling facility. All rooms are spacious with good natural light.

JUET Guna has separate hostel blocks for girls. Currently, the hostel blocks can accommodate 424 students. The university offers hostel facilities such as study tables, almirahs, wardrobes, lights, fans and Internet connectivity and a centralized air cooling facility. Rooms are multi seated in the capacity of two or three students, therefore facilities are provided on an individual basis.

JUET Guna has a medical centre inside the campus that takes care of all medical needs of the students and faculty. The centre has two doctors, two compounders and one pathologist. Two ambulances are 24/7 available in case of any emergencies.

The university believes that good health is an asset for everyone. JUET Guna has a health corner that is equipped with three gyms mainly comprise of heavyweight and light types of equipment. All the exercises and gym-related activities are being supervised by the sport instructor. The gym has all types of benches, power stepper, magnetic jogger, weightlifting kits, cable cross, twister, dumbles, exercise bike, abs leaner, floor type weighing scale, etc.

The university has a learning resource centre that is an important place for all the information and research needs of the students and faculty. The centre is fully automated and computerised by web-based library management software. Students have the access to search for their desired information on their own desktop such as availability of books, the current status of their account, new arrivals. etc through web OPAC ( Online Public Access Catalogue). Presently, the JUET Guna library is well equipped with books, reference books, standards manuals, encyclopedias, technical reports, project reports along with the prescribed text and reference books, and national & International printed journals.

The university has developed a large and spacious playground for outdoor games. Apart from indoor and gymnasium facilities, the university offers various sports facilities for the overall development of students.

The university has a robust IT infrastructure. In total, there are 20 servers having specifications G3, G4, G5 and G6 Series XEON and Nehalem Servers, Intel P-IV Series. Services they offer are Unix/Linux Servers, Storage Server with 1TB Capacity, Antivirus Server, ERP Server etc.

The university has a hygienic cafeteria that offers delicious and hygiene fold items at nominal rates.

The university auditorium is spacious, airy and fully air-conditioned. It can accommodate 2200 people at a time and has multiple entry and exit gates. An audiovisual facility and multi-layer screen room facility is also available at the auditorium.

JUET Guna offers transport facilities when there are any events. The university has 52 seater buses for the benefit of students.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The college has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The university has a swimming pool facility for the students and staff.

The university has various laboratories such as Mechanical Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab etc. Departamental based facility is available for students.

JUET Guna has two tuck shops, one garment shop and a multipurpose, ice cream shop, grocery shop to cater to the day to day needs of the students.

The university has an extension counter of the Oriental Bank of Commerce and Axis Bank is inside the campus which deals with the banking facility of the students as well as the university. The university also offers an ATM facility, an ATM of Oriental Bank of Commerce is located at the entrance of the campus.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The university has a parking space so that students who are coming by their vehicles can park in it in the parking space. This facility is also available for faculty and staff members.

University have ramps and lifts in its 80% of the building for the physical challenged students.
