Have a question related to BITS Goa ?

Hi I got 175 in manipal first attempt, don't feel like studying for comedk, with 97% in boards , is CSE in main campus assured, aim is to get CSE in manipal main campus. Shall I start studying bits as bits Goa is my second option.or should I study bits after second attempt Manipal.

With a score of 175 in Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and 97% in boards, your chances of getting Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in Manipal Institute of Technology's main campus look promising. However, admission to CSE depends on various factors, including the number of seats available (230 students) and the cutoff ranks.

    Admission Process

    - Selection Criteria: Candidates are selected based on their past academic record and MET scores.

    - Important Dates: Application start date is January 15, 2025, and the application submit date is April 30, 2025.

    CSE in Manipal Main Campus

    - Course Details: The course offers minor specialization and online courses by reputed international universities.

    - Fees: The total fees for the course is 12,16,000, with a hostel fee of 2,72,500 and a one-time admission fee of 10,000.

    Next Steps

Considering your aim to get CSE in Manipal main campus, you have two options:

    - Prepare for a second attempt at MET: If you're not satisfied with your current score, you can prepare for a second attempt. This might improve your chances of getting CSE in Manipal main campus.

    - Consider BITS Goa as a backup option: Since BITS Goa is your second option, you can start preparing for it. However, keep in mind that BITS Goa has its own entrance exam, and admission criteria might differ from Manipal's.

    Recommendation

Given your current situation, it's best to:

    - Wait for the MET cutoff ranks: Check the cutoff ranks for CSE in Manipal main campus and see if your score falls within the range.

    - Prepare for a second attempt (if needed): If the cutoff ranks are higher than your current score, consider preparing for a second attempt.

    - Keep BITS Goa as a backup option: Start preparing for BITS Goa if you haven't already, to ensure you have a solid backup plan.

does bits pilani offers five year llb course.

Yes, the BITS Law School, Mumbai offers five-year, full-time integrated BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes at the undergraduate level to students. Candidates seeking admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes offered at the BITS Law School Mumbai must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a cumulative score of at least 45% from a recognised board and must appear for the BITS Law Admissions Test/ CLAT/ SLAT/ LNAT/ AILET/ MHCET Law entrance test for admission to these programmes.

    Dear parents,

All three colleges are best. Now it all depend on the interest of your son.

CS in IIT Hyderabad is good. They have good faculty and placement scenario.

If your son choose this course then he have to do Btech with Mtech in 5 years which is good.

Now moving toward NIT. AI in NIT is good but not so popular in today's placement scenario. If he want to pursue higher degree on AI then he can choose. And also after IIT , NIT tag is valuable but in placement situation, it not so good.

And at last CS in BITS Goa. I will say don't take BITS Goa. If your son get BITS Pilani then it will consider best.

So, as per my suggestion, for getting good placement - IIIT Hyderabad and for pursue higher studies - NIT Surathkal

    Thank You
