BITS Goa Admission Process

BITS Goa admissions 2024 are available for a total of 48 programmes in various fields. BITS Goa admissions are offered to courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels in full-time mode only. BITS Goa B.E admission 2024 will be offered based on the marks obtained in BITSAT.

Admission to M.E and M.Sc programmes at BITS Goa will be based on performance in the GATE for M.Tech courses and BITSAT M.Sc exam for M.Sc courses. For BITS Goa M.E. admissions 2024, the candidates must pass the GATE examination. Following the entrance examination, candidates must attend the BITS Goa counselling.

Interested candidates must visit the official website of BITS Pilani and register themselves for the BITSAT exam.
BITS Goa B.Tech admissions are subject to fulfilment of the minimum eligibility requirements and the marks obtained in the BITSAT 2024 examination.
BITSAT examination is held in multiple sessions. Candidates may choose the test date and slot based on their convenience and availability.

BIT Goa PG Admissions 2024-2025

BITS Goa campus offers two main courses at the postgraduate level, namely, M.Sc and M.E. BITS Goa postgraduate courses are known as Higher Degree (HD) programmes. Both these courses are offered full-time for a duration of 2 years or 4 semesters and are offered in a large number of specialisations for the applicants to choose from. Some popular specialisations that are offered include Biotechnology, Design Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Communication Engineering and several others.

Admissions to M.Sc courses will be granted based on scores obtained in BITSAT examination 2024.
Those who manage to clear the cutoff of the desired courses can then go on to apply for the concerned course and choose BITS Goa campus.
Admissions will be finalised after payment of fees and verification of documents.

The professors are very good, qualified and very friendly. They have their own chambers and specific chamber hours where you can get your doubts cleared personally from them. And in the first year you are assigned a mentor who can guide you for any campus related thing.

Grading Is A Little Bad As Compared To Other Campuses.Also, Some Professors Are Very Good But At The Same Time Some Profs Are A Bit Lazy. So,You Need To Attend All The Classes And Labs Even If You Came Here After Listening The Zero Percent Attendance Policy.That's Balanced By Profs As They Include 5-10% Marks Just For Coming To Classes.

My son looks to have admission choices as below. Pl suggest 1) CS at IIIT Hyderabad 5 yr integrated course 2) AI at NIT Surathkal 3) CS at BITS Goa

Dear parents,

All three colleges are best. Now it all depend on the interest of your son.

CS in IIT Hyderabad is good. They have good faculty and placement scenario.

If your son choose this course then he have to do Btech with Mtech in 5 years which is good.

Now moving toward NIT. AI in NIT is good but not so popular in today's placement scenario. If he want to pursue higher degree on AI then he can choose. And also after IIT , NIT tag is valuable but in placement situation, it not so good.

And at last CS in BITS Goa. I will say don't take BITS Goa. If your son get BITS Pilani then it will consider best.

So, as per my suggestion, for getting good placement - IIIT Hyderabad and for pursue higher studies - NIT Surathkal

Any choice that you make between these great colleges will be purely a trade-off between a branch and a good location and college. If we consider the order on the basis of the quality of the college, then the preference order will be:

This order will be the most accepted as even though you won't get CS in BITS, however the exposure they provide in various fields like Finance, Economics is unparalleled.
