The infrastructure at PCCE is impressive in terms of labs and equipment. The college provides industry-relevant tools and updated lab setups, especially for electronics and computer-related subjects. Classrooms are well-maintained, and most essential resources like Wi-Fi, projectors, and library facilities are available. However, the campus size is relatively small compared to other engineering colleges, which limits open spaces and recreational areas. Still, the peaceful surroundings and clean environment make it a comfortable place to study.
Academics at PCCE are fairly balanced. There are some really knowledgeable and dedicated teachers who make complex concepts easier to understand, especially in core subjects. However, the experience can vary as not all faculty members are equally effective—some may not be very engaging or clear in their teaching. The college does maintain a certain level of strictness with attendance and discipline, if you're self-motivated, you can make the most of your time
The placement scenario at PCCE is good compared to other colleges in goa . Notable recruiters include Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which selected 18 students from the 2024 batch, as well as companies like HFCL Limited, Infuse Consulting, and Kilowott . Students aiming for core engineering roles might need to explore off-campus opportunities as well. Overall, with proactive participation and preparation, students have a good chance of securing placements through the college's efforts.
My course costs around ₹1.38 lakhs per year. Considering the quality of labs, decent placements, and exposure to both electronics and computer science, I do feel it's worth the money. Some areas can improve, but overall, it's a good return on investment.
Campus life is quite good. There are fun events like Mithya and Techyon. The crowd is friendly and the environment is chill, though the campus is a bit small. Still, there's a good vibe overall.
The college is equipped with up to date infrastructure and provided an all rounded campus experience. Class rooms are a bit old . Library is up to date . There is no living space . The facility was knowlege and always ready to help
I was studying electronic and telecommunications. Teaching quality was okay . Faculty was helpful but the syllabus wasn't really intresting and often outdated . They offered extra classes for Students who had doubts .
Just like every college placement was average . I believe that in the following years the placements got better . Placement were more in the Computer science stream . For the people intrested in election and telecommunications hardly any companies came
Very good . With an all round experience
The campus is kind off small but that being said it has all the necessary requirements that an Engineering college requires. The labs are equipped enough to support the latest engineering trends. Library is good with a variety of updated books. The building also has a modern look.
The teachers are good with most of them having real industry knowledge that helps students to understand the subject matter in a better way. I was a student of ETC branch and can vouch for good academics of this department.
The placements are decent and quite based on luck as well sometimes. I had to earn my chance for the placements but got a good opportunity and made the most out that one. Currently working on the same company.
The value for money is decent for the fees they charge. It was around 60-65k around my time but the cost was justified for what facilities they provided us. But to keep up with the competition colleges they need to up their game.
Since it is not a huge campus, campus life is not the best. But well that depends on you too, I know people who have made the best out of the. 4 years here at PCCE. There are clubs and societies that make your campus life more happening.
Though it is a small campus, all the requirements are fulfilled. From the best and we'll equiped labs, library with a variety of options of books required in curriculum, cafeteria in campus to the access to the sports facilities and cafeteria just opposite to our campus.
The teachers are outstanding who are always ready to put in lots of effort even to teach us things outside our curriculum. They can be approached with any difficulty and they will be present to help us through with it
The placements were decent enough according to the standard offerings across colleges in the state. With multiple brands coming, everyone gets equal opportunities to prove themselves to the companies. We are even guided by the college with trainings helping us with required skills to sit through the interview and aptitude tests
The college is expensive and fees in par with competitors would be a good idea
Though small in size, the sports activities and it's requirements are fulfilled by the Agnel campus just across the road. The support staff, teachers are very accommodating and can be reached out to for any kind of emergency
Infrastructure is not up to the mark as expected for a college to be but it's improving and giving the best they can. Wi-fi's is available in at different floors of the campus building. It has projectors in each class to make teaching more simple and interesting.
I'm a computer science student and they are covering everything that is required. Apart from fixed subjects in 3rd sem students are given options to add additional subjects like AI, data science, and many more. Also the faculty's are great and helping in every situations.
Placements is a key feature for every college. Palcements in PCCE depends more on the aptitude of the student. Companies like Infosys,IBM, Tata, Siemens,Bosch etc comes every year. Placement and training cell is a seperate dept. made that keeps a track of students and help students in every aspect.
The cost of courses here are 65000 per semester. It's okay as per the fees but it still require an improvement in its infrastructure and other facilities. Many equipments are old and need to be replaced.
The campus life is really good. It's easy to mix up with seniors as well. Each student gets lot of opportunity in different kinds of activities in techyon (technical event) , mithya(cultural event) and kurukshetra (sports event).
Sports in this college is also appreciated. We have college team for many sports like Basketball, football, TT, badminton, volleyball etc. For both boys and girls. Also we have interdepartmental sports event called kurukshetra.
