GEC Goa Admission Process
Goa College of Engineering Farmagudi offers admissions to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The GCE Goa admissions to undergraduate courses are based on the GCET exam conducted by the college. Whereas, the Goa College of Engineering PG admissions are based on the scores obtained in the GATE entrance examination.
Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination can attend the counselling session conducted by the college. College Infrastructure :
The campus is huge, has modern buildings for every department, and is located on a peaceful riverside, which makes it even more attractive as well. Labs meet academic needs, and classrooms are comfortable and have computers. But cleanliness needs to be improved right away.
Placements
An average LPA of 8 and a placement rate of about 70%, placements are respectable, particularly for CS students. With an average of 5 LPA, core branches face difficulties. Internships are available through the placement cell, but the majority are in sales and not appropriate for core fields. The highest package reached 48 LPA.

College infrastructure pretty good but there is plenty of space laptop which can be used for further development of sports pitches but the workshops are equipped with new machines they are planning to build a new blog for the VLSI department and the lapse for the workshop are well equipped with modern technology and circuit components.
Placements
In our collage we have our own college placement cell, which includes a committee of students and teachers. Where we get to explore many things which are required and also to learn more regarding placement.

GEC will always have a special place in my heart.The best part? the peace and calm that surrounded us.From walking though tree lined paths to late evening chats near the cateen, every corner held stories. And ofcourse we had our shared of complaints canteen food that tested our survival instincts but thats what made it all real and raw. From hackathons to cultural fests, DJ nights , there was never a dull moment at GEC. GEC wasnt just a college it was an emotion, an era and a family. FOREVER Grateful .Proud Engico.#Sansattavan

I still remenber the nerves and excitement .Around 100% placements were offered to eligible students and I was trilled to see the offers going as high as 24lpa and average salary of about 10-12lpa, which was really impressive
