There are decent placements, the placement cell is very active, and interactive to each and every students, they have conducted Industry preparedness programme and guided us through how corporate works. Even Mock Interview practices are conducted by the placement department. Many students like me are doing Internship provided through the college.
Placements are better than expected. Post pandemic, it was a tough time for freshers to fetch a job in their domain, but our college gave lots of placement training to face difficulties in getting a good job. They also supported to get placed in good companies with decent salary packages. Most of our seniors got placed in good companies, and our batch is also getting good opportunities
The events and fest are organised well and very entertaining. Our department organises activities like business marathon, and many competitive activities.
The Institute is spread over 29 acres of land with large infrastructure supported by laboratories with state-of-the-art, Equipment & Machines. The Central Library with modern facilities occupying 4500 Sq. mts of area and including Digital Library provides the knowledge base for the students.
Yes, our college does have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, equipment which is pretty good and perfect. The classrooms are big and spacious. Laboratories are well managed and the staff members working here are also wonderful. Coming to the libraries which is the best of all, in its infrastructure, availability of books of all types, its a calm place to be in and get all your works done. We have a big cricket ground, a basket ball stadium for games. The hostels are well maintained.
I'm studying information science and engineering, because i'm interested in networking and AI. All the teachers are qualified, very supportive and helpful in all ways. Yes the whole curriculum is updated and does include all the recent developments in the field. Yes what we are learning is enough to crack the stream job interviews.
Placements are very good, top companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Tata consultancy services, accenture etc visit our college. 75%-80% students get placed. Highest CTC Rs. 5LPA for mechanical science and engineering in 2018. Average salary offered is Rs. 3.5LPA, yes college is very supportive in providing skills and also pleasent.was
Around 1 lakh, yes our college provides best education with good teachers and supportive staff members. Also the location is pretty safe and best place for students to engage themselves in different activities.
Its the best and huge campus to be in, the garden areas, the classrooms, the canteens, libraries etc are super cool. students can engage in many projects, cultural events, sports, inter college and intra college fests.
Yeah, College have the good infrastructure with all the good facilities. College have all the practical required equipment. Library contains more than 10000 books. E-library / Digital library is provided to a student. Projectors are installed to each classroom. The area of it is clean and greenery and also gets hygienic food.
The professor of this college teaches very well and also makes clear the doubt of the students. All the professor's of each department motivate to the students. Our curricular activities are also up-to-date.
The placement records of our college is good. Every year minimum 80% students got placed. Our college is supportive regarding placement cell. The Maximum package goes around 10-15 LPA and Average package around 5-8 LPA.
The college fees is around 2.2 lakhs per year which is much bigger amount. The college gives the value for money.
Our college is fully evergreen. Campus life here is very enjoyable as the people around are very helpful and friendly. The location is very safe . The staff and faculty members are really supportive.
The college is good but the fees structure is too high.
The environment of DSCE is very pleasant with greenery all around. You will fall in love with the campus. The classrooms, labs, canteens, hostels, library, washrooms are all well equipped and maintained well. The mess food is not so good but you can manage. The library of the college is the best part with a huge variety. It is open from 9 am to 9 pm for students from Monday to Saturday. The sports area should have been bigger. The only demerit for the hostel is common washrooms and the price - 1.22LPA
I chose DSCE based on my COMEDK rank. It comes under one of the best colleges in Karnataka. One can easily get DSCE with an average rank. Placements are quite okay compared to other private colleges. The faculty is peace. They are friendly to everyone. Overall it's a decent college for an average student to excell. Best thing about DSCE is the students are very friendly. The environment is diverse. We get a lot of exposure and extra co-curricular activities and workshops.
I am in first year now but I have heard from my seniors that the placement for computer science is very good i.e. about 100% . The college is growing day by day and now the placement of telecom which is my department is growing. Overall 75% placement we can say.
My course i.e. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering costs upto Rs2,40,000 per year. DSCE is very rude when it comes to money. It's very money minded. Rest talking about the fee I feel it's okay because other private colleges they cost more than this. So, in terms of course fee it's quite well spending this much.
In terms of campus DSCE is best. The area around DSCE is very good. The campus has it's own gym also. The environment inside the campus is very beautiful. It feels soothing sitting in the campus. Students and teachers are very friendly. And we all know that there are some strict teachers too everywhere but it's fine. We can see diversity inside the campus as there are students from every corner of India. Everything is available just outside the campus from flats, pgs, restaurants,to stalls.
Overall it's a good college for students who are trying for colleges other than IITs and NITs.
The campus is clean and well maintained. It isn't big area wise but isn't small either. All the necessary facilities and equipment have been provided. The hostels are clean and the food provided is hygenic.
Teaching is average at best. Students are encouraged to take up moocs and study more on their own, though. Syllabus in each and every course has been recently reduced so that students find it easy to score good marks. The teachers and professors are very helpful, especially in my branch i.e. Cse. 3 midsems per semester make life hellish, though.
The scenario has gotten better recently. Students in Cse are easily placed with good to great offers. It is hard to say about other branches, though. Nevertheless, from what I've heard, if your cgpa is over 7 or 7.5 and your smart enough, you'll have little to no trouble getting on-campus placements. The highest salary package this year was around 30 lakhs offered in software development (that's what you expect from a college in Bangalore) to multiple students.
Good infrastructure, good facilities and all ohther things are also good like they have a sufficient area for everything like laboratories and play area and ground and good enviroment and mainly well maintained.
Good faculties available make tha academics good and also the amont of equipment available for each student to work is more than sufficient and they well maintain the facilities that are to be provided.
As far as i know placements are good as college offers good education and helps in getting placememts to all tha students and mainly get a decent amount as their starting pacakage and also provides some good i ternships.
Fee is decent
Good
Dsce is a good place when it comes of infrastructure. The campus doesn't provide WiFi facility, but you will get WiFi access in college hostel. All the labs, classroom and libraries are great and very helpful. Food served in NRI hostel is great while costly too. Food served in Indian hostel for both girls n boys are same as served in outside hostel. Sagar hospital is attached to the campus itself for any medical emergency. The college provide football ground, basketball ground and tennis court.
Faculty members in this campus are not that great but one can rate them as average. I rate them based on their teaching, caretaking and application based concepts. Don't expect to learn more application based concepts otherwise you will end up having theoretical knowledge. They will provide a PDF before exam and most of the questions are from that itself.
Dsce has built strong relationships with leading organisations to provide the best placement opportunities to its students. In the academic year 2019-2020, Amazon offered highest package, followed by Infosys, Accenture etc. Furthermore, more than 100 companies visit this university each year, offering diverse recruitment opportunities to its students.
The courses are upto date and are interesting for careers. The courses are upto the level where you can utilize your knowledge to built your future. The syllabus are latest technologies on which most of the IT sectors hire you.
There will be alot of sports events conducted during each academic year. There is a delicate cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, tennis court where children can play. The events are conducted during cultural fests.
I have choosen this college because I am a tech enthusiast and I like computer and coding. I suggest you to have fun enjoy It's your college life but try to learn new things every day. The college organises lots of events on the campus and it will be fun too.
Since SNQ seats are often branch-specific, changing your branch in the 2nd round can cause the quota not to carry over. Check DSCE’s official counselling guidelines for quota rules. Immediately contact the college admission office and explain your 1st round SNQ allotment. Keep all proofs and allotment letters ready. They may reconsider or guide you on options. If not, you may have to accept the new branch or try for SNQ in future rounds.
Since you got SNQ quota in the first round for DSCE but a different branch in the second round without SNQ, it may be because SNQ seats weren’t available in that branch. You should contact the college admissions office immediately and explain your situation. Ask if your SNQ quota can be retained for the new branch. You can also reach out to the counselling authorities to check if a manual correction is possible. Act quickly, as quota changes have strict deadlines. Keep all your original SNQ documents ready for verification.
Hey Karthik:)
Thanks for reaching out!
With a KCET rank of 7,727 under the 2A reservation category your chances of getting CSE at Dayananda Vidyasagar College Of Engineering (DVCE) are at borderline but possible, especially in later rounds .In the previous year cutoff trends, closing rank for CSE under 2A category was around 7,500 which places you slightly above the past cutoff. So admission in the first shift is unlikely .You may have a chance in 2nd or later rounds depending on seat availability, cut-off movements and dropout cases.
Your rank is close enough to the cutoff to keep DSCE CSE as a hopeful option especially if you're open to later rounds but keep strong backup options ready and stay updated with the councelling process.
