    Good

    College Infrastructure

I live in girls hostel. It has all basic facilities that we need and the bathrooms and rooms are cleaned regularly.Classrooms are nice not so good not so bad.But I have many friends so we enjoy very much.

    Academics

Since I only completed 1st sem so I can't say much about the faculty members but as we know our college is in 4th position so I think when we will go to our respective branches the faculty member will be good.

    Placements

Honestly not know much about placements but according to our college this year the highest national placement is 31.5lpa and global placement is 22lpa and average 6.5lpa.But hoping that the placements should increase

    Value for Money

The fees per year is around 2,19000.The hostel fees for girls are 1,35000 but I don't think it is worth our money as it is not soo good and also we don not have indoor games and tv but ya living in hostel we are away from the rush of Bangalore.

    Campus Life

Don't know due to covid everything is worst. But ya the campus has many trees and I love roaming in the campus after our dinner.

    Others

There is gym but the cost of gym is around 750 per month. The timing for hostel closing is 8:30pm.

    College Infrastructure

Facilities are pretty good, and you will find the most interesting things like the infrastructure of the library. We have a 5-floor library where you can find any book you need. The college provides medical facilities, and it also has a medical wing on campus. Sagar hospital is present where anyone can go in case of emergency.

    Academics

Mostly, HODs will take the classes for mathematics and chemistry in the first year, and other faculty members are also good pretty and much experienced. The minimum qualification for a professor here is PhD, so almost all of them have completed their PhDs. Even proctors are assigned to the students, that is the non-teaching staff for students, but yet, they are PhD holders.

    Placements

Almost 94% of the students got placed, and the rest opted for government services, so they didn't apply for college placements. Cognizant, Accenture and IBM are the main mass recruiting companies. They recruited 548 students, and Cisco recruited only 1 student of my course, with the highest package. Each individual requires to update himself according to their needs. 60% of students got internships in TCS, as it provides minor projects which can be easily done by the 2nd year students.

College campus is good and clean. But wifi and sports accessories makes rating down. Rather all the things are good hostels are good with good quality of food. Canteens are also clean and have tasty food.

    Academics

Teachers are good. They teach up to the syllabus no extra from their side is provided. Curriculum is all up to date like all things are update as per the university directions. Study here is worthfull.

    College Infrastructure

The campus is huge and has all the necessary infrastructure needed. The college is usually clean and safe. There are 3 canteens, which are well maintained and hygienic. There are 4 hostels, 2 for girls and 2 for guys.

    Academics

I'm pursuing CSE from DSCE to become a software developer. The teachers are knowledgeable and are very helpful. Since the college is autonomous the syllabus is changed often, according to the industry needs.

    Placements

The quality of placements is good. Almost 80-90% people get placed, highest package being 31L and average being 5-7L. The placement cell turned out to be helpful and a lot of good companies came in for the interview as well

    Value for Money

I paid an amount of 91k/year. It was worth it.

    Campus Life

The best part about the campus is that it is huge and has a lot of trees. It has a basketball court, football ground, tennis court etc. The location is great, it is between jayanagar and koramangla, both great places to hang out with friends. It is safe and the college has its own hospital as well so emergencies are handled well.

    College Infrastructure

Very nice and beautiful infrastructure. The only thing that mainly stands this college apart from all other colleges of KCET and COMEDK. About 29 acre campus with beautiful environment. A beautiful juxtaposition of nature and academics.

    Academics

Faculty is average. Some are exceptionally good while some are just hitherto. Notwithstanding the quality of teachers they are supportive and few are rude though but overall they are good. Interestingly you can find some of them very research oriented.

    Placements

Placement is good. If you are willing to study, work on yourself and have an ambitious attitude this college provides you ample opportunities and sets a suitable platform for you. The stage is yours now it's your responsibility to show everyone.

    Value for Money

Well college is no doubt costly but less costly than majority of the colleges in North. No scholarship here.

The infrastructure is awesome. The campus is very beautiful. Our college provides well spacious classrooms. The campus is WIFi enabled with a digital library, the library is huge, and labs with all the necessary equipment. The hostel facility is good but a bit costlier. There are numerous Pg very close to the college. Campus life is fun overall. Our college has many auditoriums to conduct extracurricular activities.

    Academics

The quality of teaching is overall good. Most of the teachers have a minimum of Ph.D. qualifications. Teachers are very helpful no doubt about it. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Most of the faculty members have Research level knowledge.

    Placements

Majority of the students get placed, especially in CSE/ISE.AIML is a new branch introduced in the 2020 batch which is again going to reach huge heights. Usually, more than 200 companies come for placements but in 2020 due to pandemic, it was around 150. The highest package in 2020 was 30 lacs offered to an ISE student by Amazon. The average package was around 6 lacs. The median package is not known.

I am satisfied with the facilities provided here.

    College Infrastructure

There are all the things which are required for study, and labs are available in this college. DSCE has the hugest library in Bangalore. There are two types of hostels, among which one is NRI, and the other one is a normal hostel. The food served here includes mostly South Indian dishes. Our college is situated in a very beautiful location and in a cool place.Sagar hospital is situated beside the campus, and rock garden and amphitheatre are the best places on the campus.

    Academics

Teachers are quite qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching system is not that great. Mostly, students need to learn everything on their own. The course curriculum is up-to-date, but extra knowledge is also required for a great job. Many students are placed by the end of their 3rd year. Bangalore is an IT hub of India and offers great opportunitiesThey provide good direction during course project. throughout the year.

    Placements

Every year about 80% of all ECE students get good placements. Companies like Accenture, Nokia, Tech Mahindra, etc., offer some core jobs, whereas companies like Wipro, Microsoft, etc., are mass recruiters and offer good salary packages. Placements are based on students' ability and courage they have regarding the work they get. The highest salary package offered in the last year was 22 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA.

    Value for Money

they have conducted Industry preparedness programme and guided us through how corporate works. Even Mock Interview practices are conducted by the placement department. Many students like me are doing Internship provided through the college. it is worth for money. I think there are a few key areas the department can improve to be the best.DSCE is known for its wonderful fests, beautiful campus and unlimited activities.

    Campus Life

The events and fest are organised well and very entertaining. This course has a scope in future. Events and fest are organised, and the campus is situated almost at the centre of Bangalore. The environment is very good, and everyone enjoys it. There are a lot of extracurricular activities happening throughout the year, almost on a regular basis.

    Others

It is a decent college with good placements and infrastructure.

Have a question related to DSCE Bangalore ?

Since SNQ seats are often branch-specific, changing your branch in the 2nd round can cause the quota not to carry over. Check DSCE’s official counselling guidelines for quota rules. Immediately contact the college admission office and explain your 1st round SNQ allotment. Keep all proofs and allotment letters ready. They may reconsider or guide you on options. If not, you may have to accept the new branch or try for SNQ in future rounds.

Since you got SNQ quota in the first round for DSCE but a different branch in the second round without SNQ, it may be because SNQ seats weren’t available in that branch. You should contact the college admissions office immediately and explain your situation. Ask if your SNQ quota can be retained for the new branch. You can also reach out to the counselling authorities to check if a manual correction is possible. Act quickly, as quota changes have strict deadlines. Keep all your original SNQ documents ready for verification.

    Hey Karthik:)

    Thanks for reaching out!

With a KCET rank of 7,727 under the 2A reservation category your chances of getting CSE at Dayananda Vidyasagar College Of Engineering (DVCE) are at borderline but possible, especially in later rounds .In the previous year cutoff trends, closing rank for CSE under 2A category was around 7,500 which places you slightly above the past cutoff. So admission in the first shift is unlikely .You may have a chance in 2nd or later rounds depending on seat availability, cut-off movements and dropout cases.

Your rank is close enough to the cutoff to keep DSCE CSE as a hopeful option especially if you're open to later rounds but keep strong backup options ready and stay updated with the councelling process.
