Classrooms are equipped with projectors, appropriate seating, and ventilation. The department has well-equipped seminar halls and discussion rooms for guest lectures and group work. The library is rich in academic books, journals, and digital materials. Labs and computer centers are modern and utilized regularly for practical classes. Hostels are clean and safe, with Wi-Fi, hygienic mess food, and availability of basic amenities.
The teachers at KIET are supportive and knowledgeable. The majority of the professors emphasize interactive classes, such as presentations, live case studies, and workshops. The professors mentor students effectively in academic as well as career development. Students are regularly taken through seminars and industry interactions to bring them abreast of latest trends.
Approximately 80% students are placed each year based on their performance and specialization. A reasonable number of well-known companies from industries such as banking, consulting, FMCG, and IT services arrive on campus during placement season. Some of the top recruiters provide positions in sales, marketing, finance, and operations. Internship placements are also strongly supported, and nearly all students find internships during their second semester.
The infrastructure and facilities at KIET are good and up to date. The library is very good, with adequate academic resources and a good study environment. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided, but you have to visit the IT department to obtain access credentials. The hostel life is decent, and the mess is neat with hygienic food.
The syllabus of the course is reasonably relevant and supports in establishing a good foundation, but in order to keep up with current industry demands, students are supposed to take additional online courses or certifications. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty but largely originate from within the course syllabus.
The maximum package provided is as high as 15–18 LPA, and the minimum package is in the range of 3.5–4.5 LPA. Few of the key recruiters for our course are Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, and Wipro. But opportunities for internships are scarce, and to my knowledge, very few of our course students received internships from the college.
Wi-Fi is present, and the speed is also gold in every place of campus, college is under cctv surveillance . Hostels are hygienic and clean, and canteen food is good,The college also conducts sports and cultural activities, which act to keep academic and extracurricular activities in balance.
Masters are always available to assist, be it academics or career advice. However, the curriculum seems outdated and not entirely market-focused with respect to needs such as digital transformation, analytics, or fintech. Examinations are not extremely tough.
In the previous batch, nearly 90% of students were placed. The best package given was around 14 LPA, and the average package was near 4.2 LPA. The average package was about 3.8 LPA, which is a better picture of what the majority of students can hope for. Top recruiters were Axis Bank, HCLTech, Byju's, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
KIET infrastructure is working well but not top-notch. The MBA students use separate classrooms equipped with projectors and smart boards, and the practical work space is provided through a computer lab. The library contains an adequate number of management books and periodicals, though more contemporary industry-related content would enhance the experience. The hostel facilities are moderate, and while the rooms are good, food could be improved.
The faculty is qualified and experienced, with a considerable number of them possessing Ph.D. degrees and actual industry experience. They are friendly and cooperative, particularly in clarifying doubts or walking students through case studies and presentations. The course is largely in accordance with contemporary MBA standards, although slightly more emphasis on practical learning and industry interface would be ideal.
Placement opportunities for MBA students at KIET Ghaziabad are good in general. Approximately 75–80% of the students from my batch were placed by the college placement cell. The highest salary package offered was nearly ₹12 LPA, and the lowest was nearly ₹3 LPA, with the average being around ₹5 LPA.
Infrastructure in KIET is modern, well-equipped, and student-centric. Projectors and audio-visual aids are available in MBA classrooms for effective learning. There is a separate management block with seminar halls, a good library with full of books, and computer laboratories. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided all over the campus
The teaching methodology consists of case studies, presentations, and group work, which is beneficial for management students. There are regular workshops and guest lectures also conducted to make students aware of the current industry trends.
The college is associated with numerous companies, and students are offered opportunities in the field of finance, marketing, HR, and operations. The average package is approximately 4 to 5 LPA, and the highest package goes up to 10–12 LPA based on individual skills and performance. Organizations such as HDFC Bank, ICICI, Deloitte, and Byju's come to the campus for placements.
The mess food is average, but hygiene is maintained. The college provides basic medical services and encourages participation in sports like basketball, football, and badminton, which are accessible to all students.overall the campus have decent infrastructure.
In the MBA program, internal assessments are taken seriously. There are 3 internal tests conducted before the main university exam, which contributes to internal marks. These internals are conducted in a formal manner and mirror the final AKTU exam, which is structured like a board exam. The difficulty level is moderate but requires consistent preparation. The faculty is supportive and experienced.
In my MBA course at KIET Ghaziabad, the average placement package is around 7.5 LPA, which is fairly good considering the college's reputation under AKTU. There are several specializations in the MBA program such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Business Analytics.
The hostel areas are well-serviced and have decent hygienic food available in messes. Facilities like sports fields and recreational fields are available to maintain a work-life balance routine.Wi-Fi facility is available everywhere in the campus, and class and lab equipment are well-placed,The library also contains a vast collection of management books.
Faculty are very helpful and interactive, be it for academic problems or career development. The syllabus is in line with the industry needs with emphasis on theory as well as practical implementation via presentations, case studies, and live projects. Semester exams as per AKTU norms are given moderately, which have a passing percentage of nearly 40%.
I am studying MBA from KIET Ghaziabad, and the placement situation for our program is quite promising. Approximately 80% of students are placed annually. There is a good corporate connection in the college, and companies such as Amazon, Accenture, TCS, and Infosys visit the campus regularly.
The hostel and academic block infrastructure is extremely well kept. MCA students have separate computer labs with new systems and high-speed internet connectivity. The hostel offers hygienic food, clean rooms, and a laundry facility, and indoor and outdoor sports equipment for recreation.
Faculty mentor students adequately in core topics such as Data Structures, DBMS etc. They also see to it that conceptual clarity is established for theoretical and practical examinations. Lab sessions are properly planned, and students are given individual attention, particularly if they have difficulties with coding or project work.
Approximately 85% of the MCA students were placed at the placement drive in KIET Group of Institutions. The placement procedure is well-organized and effective, and students who have a high CGPA can apply for companies of high status. The best package given to an MCA student was around 15 LPA, while the average one is between 8–10 LPA and the lowest around 5 LPA. Key recruiters are HCL, Wipro, TCS, Infotech, and UltraTech Cement, with jobs such as Software Developer, System Analyst, and Data Engineer.
The facilities at KIET are great, particularly for the MBA block. The classrooms are well-furnished with smart boards, projectors, inbuilt audio systems, and dual ACs, providing a professional learning environment. Free campus Wi-Fi is available, which is helpful for research and project work. The hostels are clean, with Decent rooms and healthy food in the mess.
The student-faculty ratio is quite healthy, providing individual attention. Professors are well-qualified, helpful, and friendly, particularly in mentoring for live projects, case studies, and industry certifications. Practical learning is given a lot of importance, with labs and simulation tools being utilized to train managers. Workshops, guest lectures, and industrial visits happen on a regular basis, providing us with a better understanding of the current business scenario.
I got placed in Iron Lady as a Relationship Manager, which was a moment of pride for me. The placement percentage for MBA students in KIET is quite high, with more than 92% of students placed in different fields such as Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations. The median package is close to 5.5 LPA,
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and students can access online materials and courseware without interruption.Hostel facilities are safe and good, with the availability of both AC and non-AC rooms. Group study rooms and seminar halls are provided for presentations and case discussions, which are regular components of the MBA course.
The pass percentage overall is about 85–90%, The curriculum is market-relevant,Teachers are accessible and incorporate real-time case studies, industry projects, and simulations regularly into the learning process.
The maximum package received was 15 LPA, while the average package still stands at 4 LPA. A substantial number, about 32% of students, received multiple offers, particularly in positions like Business Analysts, Financial Consultants, Marketing Executives, HR Executives etc. I got placed in Stellantis as Project Management Trainee and now i am on a position of Dealer Account Manager here.
KIET Ghaziabad and JIIT Noida are both good private engineering colleges. But JIIT Noida is a little better in terms of placements, especially for Computer Science and IT branches.
JIIT Noida gets more big companies like Amazon, Adobe, and other product-based companies. The average package in JIIT for CSE is around 7 to 8 lakh rupees per year. Some students also get very high packages above 20 lakh. KIET also has good placements, but the average package is slightly lower, around 5 to 6 lakh per year.
The campus of JIIT Noida is modern and clean. KIET has a bigger campus and more hostel space. JIIT is stricter in academics. KIET follows AKTU university syllabus.
So if you want better job placements, JIIT Noida is slightly better. If you want a bigger campus with good facilities and lower fees, then KIET is also a good choice.

Dear student,
Yes, you can use your EWS category rank for admission to KIET Ghaziabad through UPTAC counselling , as seats are allotted based on category ranks for reserved candidates.
Now, about your chances:
With an
EWS rank of 1,30,638
, getting
ECE at KIET
is
highly unlikely
. In recent years, the
closing EWS rank for ECE
at KIET has been around
35,000 to 40,000
. If you’ve seen a closing rank like
347,725
, that might actually be the
CRL
, not the EWS rank. Category cutoffs are always much lower.
