KIET Admission Process 2021
Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology Admissions
KIET offers admissions in twenty courses including ten branches of B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology), four branches of M.Tech. (Master of Technology), three branches of M.Pharma. (Master of Pharmacy), B.Pharma. (Bachelor in Pharmacy), M.B.A. (Master of Business Administration) and M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications). Students who want to enrol in these programmes are required to appear in the UPSEE for undergraduate and M.C.A. admissions. For M.Tech. and M.Pharm. Courses, students are required to appear in the PAT and participate in the counselling process conducted by AKTU. UPSEE stands for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. It is conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University commonly known as AKTU. Students who want to enrol in the Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology through UPSEE 85 per cent admissions get seat allotted in the AKTU counselling. 15 per cent of admissions are sanctioned for management quota. Students enrolling through management quota are required to directly send applications to college. After reviewing applications, the selected candidates are called for tests. Those who qualify the tests are offered admissions to KIET. Candidates availing M.Tech. and M.Pharm. Admissions in Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology from management quota are also required to appear in PAT. Candidates who possess a GATE or GPAT score are exempted for appearing in the written examination.
KIET has started its admission process for the academic year 2020-2021. Students are required to appear in the UPSEE for B.Tech., B.Pharm., M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses. While students who want to enrol in the M.Tech., and M.Pharm. are required to appear in the PAT (PG Admission Test) conducted by AKTU and participate in the counselling rounds to enrol in the academic courses offered by KIET.

Migrants students of UT’s of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh enrolled in the first year of KIET can avail the PMSSS (Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme). It provides financial aid to migrant students of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh by waiving off their first-year academic expenses. Seats under Different Schemes:
- 85% seats of total approved intake will be filled through UPSEE counselling and remaining 15% seats of approved intake will be filled under management quota.
Through Management Quota:
- The candidate has to apply online through the institute website. Institute will shortlist the candidate on the basis of their PCM merit at 10+2 level & candidate will be called for written test and personal interview. On successful completion of a written test and interview, the candidate will be offered admission.
