      VVCE Mysore Admission Process

      Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering Mysore provides admission to the B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and PhD courses. Students aspiring to take VVCE Mysore admissions need to fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the college. Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering admission to the courses will be done on the basis of the students' performance in entrance examinations. 

      • VVCE Mysore admissions are granted based on merit and entrance exam.
      • VVCE Entrance Exams: KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main/Karnataka PGCET/GATE/KMAT/CMAT.
      • The last date to apply for the JEE Main 2026 exam is November 27, 2025.
      • Registered candidates can download GATE 2026 admit card online on January 02, 2026. 
      • VVCE admission to B.Tech is offered to candidates who have completed Class XII and is based on scores obtained in KCET, COMEDK, or JEE Main. 
      • The admission process at VVCE Mysore involves submitting the application form, required documents, and payment of fees.
      • COMEDK UGET 2026 exam will be conducted on May 9, 2026 

      For B.Tech VVCE Mysore admission, scores of KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main examinations are considered. Similarly, for M.Tech, scores of PGCET/GATE examinations are required and for MCA scores of PGCET/KMAT are required, while for VVCE Mysore MBA admission, students need to obtain a valid score in PGCET/KMAT/CMAT examinations. Further, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for a counselling process where seats will be allotted to them and they need to submit the documents for verification and pay the fees to confirm the Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering admission.       How to Apply for VVCE Admission?

      • Applicants who meet the requirements for admission to VVCE Mysore should submit their applications online.
      • The chosen VVCE Mysore courses are up to the candidates to choose.

      VVCE Mysore B.Tech Admissions 2026

      Total seven B.E/B.Tech courses are offered by the college. VVCE Mysore B.Tech courses are offered in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. The duration of the UG course is four years and is divided into eight semesters.

      45% marks aggregate in 2nd PUC/12th std/equivalent exam with English as one of the subjects and Maths and Physics.

      VVCE Mysore B.Tech Admission Process 

      • Candidates should qualify any one of the following examination KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main.

      • Students who have appeared in the entrance examination have to register for the counselling process and participate in the choice filling and choice locking.

      • For Management quota seats (Non-entrance exam students), the candidates have to appear for a counselling process and admission will be given on the basis of merit.

      • Candidates must clear the B.Tech cutoffs released by the college administration.

      • Final Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering admission will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

      VVCE Admissions 2026 for PG Courses

      VVCE Mysore offers four courses (MBA, MCA, M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, M.Tech Machine Design) at the postgraduate level. The duration of the VVCE Mysore PG course is two years.

      • Aspirants should qualify the PGCET/GATE examination to be eligible for admission.

      • The candidates have to fill the application form on the website of VVCE Mysore.

      • Students will be selected on the basis of the student's performance in the entrance examination.

      Note: 80% of seats are filled through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and the remaining 20% of seats are filled through the Management quota.

      The academics is very good in VVCE the teachers are very good experienced and knowledgeable and academics is given more priority in vvce . There are 3 internals , which is student friendly decison ,

      College Infra

      The college has very good infrastructure especially the M block and another new block which is being constructed next to the M block itself the overall infrastructure is good , the main missing part is the playground we don't have any big playground ,there is only one basketball court which is not like large enough for many students

      Placements

      Placement are decent , training and support from college is provided in good manner . You can start getting opportunities from 6th semester itself. Good companies visiting campus are hpe , dell , epicor etc

      Academics

      Academic is quite good previously there were around 240 to 300 in students in my department but nowadays it has been increase the ridiculously up to 720 and most of the times we lack faculties that have a proper knowledge about the subject some of them are teaching for the first time

      College Infra

      My college as almost all the infrastructure that is needed and it lacks advanced equipments and it doesn't have a proper playground and most of the area is built with building.It is having good classrooms and all classrooms have projector's.

      Placements

      College as an average package offer on 6 lakhs per annum and the top the highest package that has been ever received in a CSE department is 27 lakh and placements are quite good compare to most of the college in mysore.

      Campus life is very good there are many club events and other coming you can interact with other departments also they only provide you an induction program where you can introduce or make friends with other departments

      I don't know about placements but has the senior opinion that are very good placements for mechanical department compared to other departments every year Mechanical department has the highest package and placements

      I don't say it's value for money but it's above value for money bit not completely we don't get what we expect for my year CET fees is around 1,50000 and management is around 1 lakh 70000 but this year it has been increased by some amount
