The college has very good infrastructure especially the M block and another new block which is being constructed next to the M block itself the overall infrastructure is good , the main missing part is the playground we don't have any big playground ,there is only one basketball court which is not like large enough for many students
The academics is very good in VVCE the teachers are very good experienced and knowledgeable and academics is given more priority in vvce . There are 3 internals , which is student friendly decison ,
Placement are decent , training and support from college is provided in good manner . You can start getting opportunities from 6th semester itself. Good companies visiting campus are hpe , dell , epicor etc
My college as almost all the infrastructure that is needed and it lacks advanced equipments and it doesn't have a proper playground and most of the area is built with building. It is having good classrooms and all classrooms have projector's.
Academic is quite good previously there were around 240 to 300 in students in my department but nowadays it has been increase the ridiculously up to 720 and most of the times we lack faculties that have a proper knowledge about the subject some of them are teaching for the first time
College as an average package offer on 6 lakhs per annum and the top the highest package that has been ever received in a CSE department is 27 lakh and placements are quite good compare to most of the college in mysore.
College infrastructure is good but there is no space for sports there are new buildings but no space but mechanical department is very good you can join only for mechanical not for other branches. In mechanical department teacher Sir good
Academic are very good there in too very in mechanical department there in to industrial visit and many other things but in other department teachers lac the academic large mechanical department has very good number index but compared to other departments mechanical is best
I don't know about placements but has the senior opinion that are very good placements for mechanical department compared to other departments every year Mechanical department has the highest package and placements
I don't say it's value for money but it's above value for money bit not completely we don't get what we expect for my year CET fees is around 1,50000 and management is around 1 lakh 70000 but this year it has been increased by some amount
Campus life is very good there are many club events and other coming you can interact with other departments also they only provide you an induction program where you can introduce or make friends with other departments
My college has most of the essential infrastructure such as well maintained class rooms ,laboratories and well stocked library. however certain areas like advanced research equipment or some sports facilities could be further improved to enhance the overall learning experience.
Since from 2024 the intake has increased largely from 240 to 540 in only cse there has been a shortage of experienced teacher for cse . The academic teaching is just above average. But the college management is trying its best to make us job ready.
honestly the placement situation at my college is decent but not outstanding. Its not like 100% of students gets placed but also it not bad if you compare it to most of the college. From what i have seen on an average around 50 to 60% of students get placed.
Since i from cet i had a fee of 1,20,000 general and i am not completely satisfied that the fee money is worth but definitly it's better than management ceat which might cost around 3.5lakh without donation.
Its not that big as i had heard before as most of the campus area is now used for constructing building but its not definitly the worst when compared to most of the college. Staff are friendly but there is not enough play area in campus.
Our classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and equipped with basic teaching facilities. Laboratories have necessary equipment for practical learning, including computer labs. The library provides useful books and a quiet reading space. Sports centres support indoor and outdoor games, and hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities for comfortable stay.
I am currently studying my course to build my career, but I feel the syllabus is slightly outdated compared to current industry trends. The teaching quality is average; some teachers are good and supportive, while others are not very engaging. Overall, it is decent but has scope for improvement.
Placements in the college are not very strong. The college claims that many students get placed, but based on feedback from seniors, the actual placement numbers are lower. Opportunities are limited, and not all students get good offers, so improvement is needed in placement support.
The course fee is moderate, but I do not feel it fully matches the value provided. The infrastructure and teaching are average, and placement opportunities are limited. Compared to the cost, the overall return is not very satisfying, so there is definitely room for improvement.
Campus life is average. There are some activities and events, but they are not very frequent or well-organized. Students are generally friendly, and the environment is decent. The campus is safe, but overall, there is limited exposure and opportunities for extracurricular growth.
It was good for campus and Yes, my college has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for academic and overall development. The college provides well-maintained classrooms that are spacious, properly ventilated, and equipped with basic teaching aids. Many institutions today also include smart boards and projectors to support digital learning. The laboratories are adequately equipped with the required instruments and materials for practical learning, helping students gain hands-on experience as per the curriculum. The library is another strong point, offering a good collection of textbooks, reference materials, and digital resources for study and research
Most of the faculty members are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. Good teaching plays an important role in student learning and motivation, as it directly influences understanding and academic performance. Some teachers use practical examples, presentations, and interactive methods, which make learning more engaging. However, the quality may vary slightly depending on the department or individual faculty.
I don't review it but The quality of placements in my college is decent, with a good number of companies visiting the campus every year. The training and placement cell is active and helps students with aptitude training, mock interviews, and skill development sessions, which improves employability.but
Good,I feel that I am getting fairly good value for the money spent. The college provides decent infrastructure, qualified faculty, and necessary academic resources like labs, library, and placement support. These factors contribute positively to the overall learning experience.
Very nice
No, but give information about placement from 3rd sem ,One of the best aspects of my campus is its infrastructure and environment. The campus is usually well-maintained, with greenery, open spaces, and a peaceful atmosphere that supports learning.
The college infrastructure is good and provides a comfortable environment for students to study and learn. The campus has well-maintained classrooms, laboratories with necessary equipment, a library with useful academic resources, and proper seating arrangements. Facilities like Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, and a spacious campus make it convenient for students. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and basic student needs effectively.
The academic environment in the college is quite good. The syllabus is well-structured and helps students understand the core concepts of their subjects. Most of the faculty members are supportive and explain topics clearly. Internal assessments, assignments, and presentations help students stay engaged with the subjects. Overall, the academics help students build a strong foundation in their field of study.
The placement opportunities in the college are average. Some well-known companies visit the campus for recruitment, and students with good academic performance and skills have better chances of getting placed. The college also conducts training sessions, workshops, and aptitude preparation programs to help students improve their employability. However, students often need to work on their own skills and internships to secure better placement opportunities.
The college provides good value for money considering the facilities, academic support, and overall learning environment offered to students. The fee structure is reasonable compared to many other institutions, and students get access to necessary resources like classrooms, laboratories, library, and campus facilities. Overall, the college offers a balanced combination of education and infrastructure for the amount students invest
Campus life in the college is enjoyable and gives students many opportunities to participate in different activities. The college organizes cultural events, technical fests, and extracurricular programs that help students showcase their talents and interact with others. There are also clubs and student groups that encourage teamwork and creativity. Overall, campus life helps students maintain a good balance between academics and fun while building friendships and memories. ????✨
The infrastructure at VVCE is decent and meets most academic needs. Classrooms and labs are equipped with basic teaching facilities like projectors and the library has a good collection of books and study spaces for students. The campus also provides a small sports ground, Wi-Fi facilities, though some areas could be better maintained.
I am CSE graduate. The teaching quality is good and most faculty members explain concepts clearly. the curriculum is fairly updated and covers important topics, but more practical exposure and industry-oriented skills would make students more job-ready.
Placements at the college are decent with several companies visiting every year. Around 70-80% students get placed. The average salary is moderate and the training and placement cell and supports to help students prepare for jobs.
The worst infrastructure, not good classrooms; they don't have good facilities in labs; restrictions on sitting anywhere; faculty are not very friendly and helpful in nature; they don't have wi-fi facilities on campus; there is only one canteen and it is very small.
Teachers don't have very much knowledge about their subject; they give too many assignments. There is no attendance issue in CSE and ISE but in other branches there is a very high attendance issue. Some teachers are very supportive and some are not. The syllabus is very old.
The placement percentage is average, like 70 to 80%. Still, many students go for off-campus placement and many of them end up getting an even better package. I'm not too sure about the current highest package but a guy from 7th semester got a 13 LPA offer, and I heard someone from ETE also got an 18 LPA offer. So the college is good as long as you are good; ultimately, it all depends on you.
A very big and high tech library, labs, big classrooms, coffee shops, sitting area etc are there. Hostel is overall good and spacious. Food is better than other hostels and hostel fees is decent. Clean hostels and a small shop inside the hostel as well as a hostel library is there.
Specially in EEE department, the professors are very supportive. They have deep knowledge about the course and teach in the best way possible. The course curriculum is overall good and helpful. The semester exams are not very difficult, there are two internals per semester and an end semester exam at the end which is prescribed by the college. Pass percent is around 90%.
From my course around 40% students gets placed. Highest package is 12 LPA and lowest is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Pine Labs, Musigma, Zintler, Oracle etc. Internships depends on the student there are no college internships but students get internships in companies like Zintler.
With a KCET rank of 140,000, chances of getting CSE at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysore, are extremely unlikely. 2024 closing rank for General Merit candidates was around 16,185 in Round 1 and extended to ~15,247 in later rounds . Even for Computer Science via lateral entry (DCET) in
If your KCET rank is 140000, then getting admission in VVCE Mysuru is a little difficult, especially if you want top branches like Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Science. These branches usually fill up with students who have ranks below 60000.
But if you belong to a reserved category like
NIE Mysore is generally ranked higher by prominent ranking agencies. For instance, according to NIRF, NIE is ranked in the 151-200 band, while VVCE falls into the 251-300 band.NIE appears to have slightly better placement records, with a higher highest package of 56 LPA and an average package of 9
