The adoption of AI in education is increasing globally. Not only does it personalise learning experience, and help them upskill, but also enhances student engagement. Several Indian universities such as Amity Online and LPU Online utilise AI in their learning curriculum for online degree courses, thus enhancing the learning experience and expanding accessibility.

While online learning involves virtual and interactive modes of education, UGC encourages institutions to utilise Learning Management Systems which are web applications that run on a server and are accessed by using a web browser. These platforms support AI-driven analytics, and track student progress providing students with instant academic support.
