Questions related to Amity University, Mumbai
How was Amity University mumbai for btech and what is the highest, average and lowest package for EEE and what is the fees structure for jee 80 percentile students
Amity University is a reputed institution and generally they offer good placements for all their students. However the best placement takes place for the CSE department. The university has an excellent infrastructure and faculty. There will be a lot of scope and exposure to research with their well equipped labs . They have collaborations with international universities for research activities.Hence overall the learning experience will be good.
Coming to your question ,5.7 Lakh per annum was the highest package offered as of last year to EEE students and the companies that visited the campus were Hyundai,MCDERMOTT,WSP,INDIGO,INGERSOLL,TCS,ACCENTURE,Wipro,Hexaware,Capgemini,Keyence,Eleation,Birlasoft,Genpact,Aricent,Igate,FORD,HeadStrong,Virtusa,Indus Valley and more. This package is less compared to other year packages . In the year 2014-15 it went up to 17-18 Lakhs and even for the rest of the years it kept varying. The average salary offered was 3 LPA.It all depends on how students perform during placements and so it is evident that if you are good at your knowledge and skills , you will get amazing opportunities from top companies. The course fee for B. Tech at Amity University Mumbai ranges from INR 80,000 to INR 1,70,000 per annum.

Which university is best for bsc physics or ( hons) SRM Chennai Main branch, Chandigarh University, Amity University Mumbai... ( research oriented and for abroad studies)... please rank them.
These 3 colleges are private ones and all of the are equally good for bsc physics honours .It's hard to compare but if asked then I will arrange them in this order of preference SRM,chandigarh university, and last amity university .
I was also a physics honours student .Since you want to study in abroad after your bsc so focus on few things like ,first your grades (should be above 8cgpa) ,you should also need to have good IELTS or GRE grades which will help you a lot .Extra curricular activities and publishing few research papers (will help but not necessary) .With all these and of course with some good finance options you will be able to pursue your further studies .
which Institute is good for Bsc Physics hons(research point of view) Chandigarh university or Amity university mumbai?? and also other suggestions??
Both universities are well knowned private universities and have high fees but provide good infrastructure and teaching facilities.
Speaking from research point of view chandigarh university has an upper hand as you have to make your research projects multiple times in your degree course but amity is as well good for research area.
Other good colleges in bsc physics are -
1. St. Xaviers college , mumbai
2. Madras christen college, chennai
3. NIMS university , jaipur
4. Bethune college , kolkata
5. Nizam college , hyderabad
Hope it helps....
