Oberoi STEP 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply need to fulfil the eligibility criteria of the Oberoi STEP programme. Candidates can check the Oberoi STEP eligibility criteria from the list below:

• Candidates should be above 18 and below 20 years of age, as on August 15 of the year of joining the Programme.

• Clear pass in Class XII as on 1st July of the year of joining, from a Board recognised by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India.

• The programme requires a Class X English score of 60% or above. The equivalent in CBSE is a B2 Grade or a 6 Grade Point or above.

Oberoi STEP Admission Process 2027

Candidates who want to participate in the Oberoi STEP admission process should follow these steps given below:

Step 1: Fill Oberoi STEP Application Form

Interested candidates need to fill the online application form of Oberoi STEP programme on the ODCL official website. Candidates need to enter the required details mentioned on the Oberoi STEP application form such as academic qualification, exam centre (interview venue), and date in the application form.

Step 2: Appear for Oberoi STEP Interview

Candidates who want to get admission in Oberoi STEP programmes do not have to take any written test, but they have to attend an interview round.

Step 3: Check Oberoi STEP Result

The authorities of the Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development will prepare the list of candidates who are selected for Oberoi STEP admissions after completion of all the interview rounds. • Candidates need to bring a birth certificate copy as well if their Class 10 certificate does not have their date of birth

• Class 12 certificate copy

• Oberoi STEP application form printout

• One photo of the medicalt size Medical certificate

Oberoi STEP Interview Round 2027

The Oberoi STEP interview round has three major steps. Candidates can check the three rounds for Oberoi STEP below:

• Round 1-

Selection Process: Candidates are grouped into 15-20 aspirants each in the first round of the interview process. Candidates have to do many activities and answer different questionnaires.

Evaluation Criteria: Candidates are assessed on criteria such as grooming, poise and English speaking fluency. Candidates' communication skills are tested here.

• Round 2-

Selection Process: Candidates who qualify in Round 1 of the Oberoi STEP interview process can appear for Round 2. In this round, candidates meet a panel of faculty members in a one-on-one session

Evaluation Criteria: Candidates are judged on their behaviour, personality and hospitality aptitude knowledge.

• Round 3-

Selection Process: Candidates who clear Round 2 can go for the next interview round in the Oberoi STEP selection process. In the third round, candidates have to do another set of activities and fill some more questionnaires. A final interview with a panel is held here. However, candidates should note that Oberoi interview rounds may happen on a different day from Round 1 and Round 2.

Perks of Oberoi STEP Programme

• Candidates who are selected will join the Indira Gandhi National Open University(IGNOU) - Bachelor of Tourism Studies programme.

• The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development spends time, effort, and money on candidates who are chosen for the three-year STEP Programme

• has a dedicated study day every week, three weeks of study leave for IGNOU exams and three weeks of annual leave.

• OCLD covers all costs of IGNOU course fees and books, accommodation, duty meals, transportation, medical insurance and uniforms.

• The selected candidates get a monthly allowance during the training period.

• After completing the STEP Programme successfully, trainees will get a Bachelor of Tourism Studies degree from IGNOU and a Certificate of Proficiency from The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development.
