Hospitality involves the management of administrative tasks which are performed at a hotel or a resort. Your main aim is to keep in mind that the hotel atmosphere is warm, the guests are welcomed properly, and they are taken care of in the best manner possible. Candidates who wish to apply for this course should have minimum 50% marks in their 10+2 in any subjects from the recognized board.
After they pass the eligibility criteria, some colleges may have their separate entrance test to judge the eligibility of the students.

The candidates should have completed their graduation degree in hotel management from a recognized university.
The candidates who have completed a 3-year diploma in Hotel Management can also apply.
Entrance Exams for Hospitality
The institutes for hospitality give admission to the scores gained by students in their 10+2 competitive examination. But there are some institutes which carry out an entrance exam.

NCHMCT JEE – National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination is a national level online entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency. It is conducted once a year during April for 3 hours in English and Hindi only.
AIMA UGAT – All India Management Association Under Graduate Aptitude Test is an entrance exam conducted to provide admission to different UG programmes. This exam tests the student’s English, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Numerical and Data Analysis. The exam is conducted offline. The students should have passed their 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks. This is also a national level exam.
UPSEE BHMCT – Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination for Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is a state-level exam for UG courses in English and Hindi. It is a 2-hour-long exam conducted offline in May. There are a total of 100 multiple-choice questions.
MAH BHMCT CET – Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test is a state-level examination. It is conducted offline for 1 and a half hours. There are 100 objective type questions. The students should have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks. The paper has 3 sections General English, GK, Reasoning.
