since SRM is a place where students study from different places of india, SRM celebrates all the festivals without any discrimination. More than a holiday SRM students focus much on the celebration that takes place on the day. for example for holi the celebration takes place every year in the college campus. like wise for diwali , ganesh chathurthi , onam etc. And more importantly every saturdays and sundays are holidays . There will be a month holiday after each semester .And for all the well known festivals there are holidays based on the days of celebration.
