Yes, a student with weak eyesight and using corrective lenses can qualify for the DGCA medical exam, but with conditions:

Class 1 Medical (Commercial Pilot License - CPL) :
- Distance vision must be 6/6 in each eye with or without correction.
- Near vision should be N5 .
- Refractive errors are allowed within limits.
- Lasik surgery is permitted with specific conditions.
