There are allot of state Government Engineering colleges that does not required candidates to qualify in JEE mains ,for example BIT sindri of Jharkhand,Jadavpur Engineering college of West bengal,Bhagalpur college of Engineering etc,IF you want to know more names of colleges you can go through this link

Nearly all government college accept jee mains score for admission.NITs,IIITs and CFTIs accept jee mains score for admission process.State government colleges accept score of their entrance exam for counselling and admission.State government college like BIT SINDRI,JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY.Jadavpur university accept score of WBJEE for admission.And BIT SINDRI accept JCECE score for admission.You will get benefit during admission in state government college when you having domicile in that state.
