Discuss Miltons On His Blindness.

John Milton's has shared his experience of being blind through this poem.
Milton went blind working for the English republic his service that government required that he extensively read and write. This lead him to loose his eye sight. The poem takes form of a petrarchan sonnet . It traditionally focus on affection and romance. Milton subverts this in order to explore his relationship with God. M Ilton fears that his blindness will prevent him from doing God's work. The personification of patience tells him that even his ifle was is useful to God if he continues to have faith in him.
