Dear Jaideep,
The NIT aspirants have to either secure 75 per cent in their board
examinations or should be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII
examination.
For SC, ST students, the criterion is 65 per cent in the class XII exams. Earlier, candidates had to secure 50 per cent marks in the class XII exams for admission into NITs through the JEE Main.
