How can we get admission in 11th and how many stream are there with which subjects
After giving 10th board exams, two very important steps are to get admission in 11th and then the selection of a stream.
How to take admission in 11th
Application Process:
- The majority of schools make admission forms available on their website or from their administrative office soon after the 10th board results are announced. This would be from May through to July in 2024-25.
- Admission is on the basis of your 10th board examination marks. There will also be a cut-off percentage for each of the streams at the schools.
- There are a few competitive/famous schools which may take a basic entrance test (especially for popular streams like science) along with the 10th marks.
- Some schools may also have a very short interview with the student and/or parents.
- You must have your 10th mark sheet, the transfer certificate (TC) of your former school, a character certificate, caste certificate (if any), and passport sized photos ready to submit.
Timeline (for 2025-2026)
- May-June: Results of 10th (CBSE, ICSE and State Board Examinations) declared.
