How many hours we should spent for neet preparation in addition to state board preparation?
Ya maybe the contextual way of asking wuestions and pattern may be different..
So i would say 4-6 hours a day of study should do..
And try solving papers of both exams.. timed mock exam helps a lot...
Aakash ..allen kota, etc help a lot in that regard of exam practice..
From quality time I mean the period in which the brain is fully active. You pick up things in 5 mins instead of struggling with them for over an hour. So the amount of it depends on your capacity and your goal. I'd say go for the topics you have to cover instead of the time you have to study.
For state boards, you will just have to assemble all the knowledge from your neet preparation. Which you can start doing a month prior to the papers or even later. But don't gush over the boards too much. If you have your concepts clear, writing them down won't take much of an effort.
U can study for ur board exam in the end maybe last 2 months .2 months are more than enough for board .
Focus on ur neet preparation .
Plus if u are studying regularly u won't have any difficulty in school exams and board as well and u should never forget that ur main aim is to crack NEET
The key is to prioritize, as they say that, our five fingers are not equal, so is the analogy of management of your preparation for your boards and entrance.
I personally believe in "FIRST THINGS FIRST" kind of approach. You know your board exams are coming up. And if not all the time, then at least a few significant hours of preparation is absolutely mandatory. You can consider giving sometime to your concepts by sharpening your problem solving ability (so that you do not go off track as you prepare for your School level examination). Nonetheless, your immediate priority should be the event up ahead. Whatever comes first, should be given the necessary attention first. This should help you think Clearly.
As such, there is no specificity when it comes to the "NUMBER OF HOURS YOU SHOULD BE SPENDING FOR PREPARING FOR YOUR ENTRANCE EXAMS".
Remember, at the end of the day, the quality of your results will decide if you've made it to a medical college or not. So FOCUS ON THE QUALITY OF YOUR EFFORTS INSTEAD OF THE NUMBER OF HOURS YOU'VE PUT INTO IT (QUANTITY I mean to say).
In my opinion, NEET preparation should be your priority over board exams preparation. If you get above 60% marks, you are eligible for MBBS in any college if you crack AIIMS. Even if you get 95% marks, there is NO advantage.
During my 11th and 12th, I used to prepare for AIPMT only. I gave only two months for board exams (January and February 2014) and managed to get 96.8% marks. I eventually cracked AIIMS and AIPMT with double digit ranks too.
Spend most of your time preparing for NEET. Boards and NEET are not mutually exclusive, the subjects and topics are same. You just need good writing skills for boards which you can practice in last two months.
Best of luck for preparation.
