through gate exam you can either go for PSUs job or you can do masters course from reputed institute. PSUs has few hiring for computer science graduates. you can do mtech courses from reputed iits, nits , iiits or state universities or government colleges. also there is 3 years ms course available in IIT guwahati for gate qualified candidates. for ms course cutoff is really low compare to m.tech. but if placement is main thing for you then I would suggest you to go for 2 years mtech program from iits or nits as they have excellent placement record for computer science department.
