I am studying in 12th.I am preparing for NEET exam 2018.I am doing Best in Biology and Chemistry. But I have problem in Physics. Please help.
Now coming to the entrance part, if you have sufficient time then stick to two mcq books. Otherwise, a single book is enough. I would suggest mtg and arihant. Clear you concepts watching videos on YouTube. Saves time and very useful.
Physics is the problem of majority of aspirants and as you say that you are good at chemistry and biology its well and fine keep them as it is till your entrance don't neglect them while you try to better your physics as the entrance exam contains only 45 questions on physics remaining 135 questions are of chemistry and biology so. So moving to your concern on physics.I would like to recommend you to solve as much mcqs you can of physics to improve it and mainly solve those types Of mcqs which had earlier appeared in the previous year exams.solving it will gain you confidence and give you idea of what type of questions are asked in the entrance exam.Bcoz what's the ultimate goal is to get success in entrance that's it ,we need not have to be a physicist.
Bio and chem together are enough to help you pass neet but your rank will be decided by physics.
Right now what you can do is practice physics as much as you can (especially the previous year questions), focus on those chapters which you are already good at, making them best but don't leave the others as well. If you feel that your concepts are not good enough then before jumping to questions, go through the theory and build up concepts. The more variety of questions you practice, the more and more chances of coming across a known question in neet will increase.Do practice shortcut formulas. Do time bound practice.
But remember all this shouldn't be done at the cost of bio and chemistry. Give both these subjects sufficient time because at the end of the day these two will help you crack neet exam.
Hope i was able to help you.
All the best.
The thing is that, one cannot simply mug the subject. He has to understand the subject and apply it. Then only it will be easier.
I would suggest you to allot more time half an hour to 1 hour to read physics. But understanding and reading the subject will make it easier.
Even after that, if you feel the subject harder go for a tuition or coaching. All the best.
How much you can improve in physics depends on how well you know the basics. Since physics is all about concepts, unless you know what has been asked in the question, it is very obvious that you won't know how to tackle it.
Now here's the catch, find out what exactly is bothering you. Is lack of concept itself or is it your inability to apply a concept that you know in a particular context.
If it is lack of concept, you need to start from the scratch and work on building your concepts well. A good mentor should be able to help you out.
If you are good at basic concepts and you understand what is being asked in a given question but unable to apply a particular concept, PRACTICE ALONE IS THE KEY. The more you practice, the better you will be in this subject. Refer books that have good questions. For example : H. C VERMA for physics, Volume 1&2.
You need to develop fondness for the subject to score well, because you will only want to study it if you develop interest in it.
