I belong from Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. I am a dropper. I passed my 12th exam with 84 percent last year in mp board, last year in 2024. I had also given my jee mains that year and scored 54 percentile in it . But I took drop due to some personal issues. And this year I had forgotten to attempt jee. That's why I am not getting my college through mpdte counseling. So I am looking to take direct admission in college but the fees is high in my desired branches. I can afford the fees upto 1.1 lakh p.a. but according to it the college should also have value for it in placements surity. I am very hardworking. I can give my best in a proper guidance. I am interested in btech cse because it gives high package in low time but it also have high competition. Secondly now one branch is also veryfamous that is ece advanced which also gives us knowledge of coding too so it looks safe , low competition, medium package, and chances of govt jobs based on our effort. I also have interest to choose civil because through itwe can give upsc we can start own business we can apply for govt jobs but the drawback is that job are limited and package is low in private sectors. And I want a high income within 3 years after my graduation. I am also confused whether to choose cse core or cse aiml for a bright future. So please guide me which branch and college is best for me.
Hello,
As you can afford up to Rs. 1.1 lakh per year, you should look for colleges that offer good placements in this budget.
If your main goal is high income within 3 years after graduation, then CSE (Core) is the best option, as it has the most opportunities in software and IT fields. CSE with AI & ML is also good, but CSE Core has more job options and flexibility.
ECE is a safer option with chances in both coding and government exams, while Civil is good only if you're serious about UPSC or government jobs, but private jobs are limited.
Try for colleges like LNCT Bhopal , Oriental Bhopal , or ITM Gwalior , where you may get CSE or ECE in your budget. Focus on skill-building from day one to get good placements. Also, keep preparing for off-campus jobs.
Hope it helps !
