It is essential for the candidates to have qualified JEE Main 2020 and have their rank within 250000, including all the categories. The total number of candidates can rise only in case of a tie, that is, if candidates get same score or rank. So in your case, since you are not within the top 250000 candidates, you cannot sit for JEE Advanced. Don't worry, you can get many good colleges with your JEE Main rank.

Since only the first 2.5 lakhs students can give and apply for the JEE advanced, and also your rank doesn't meet the criteria of coming under 2.5 lakhs , as a result you are not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
