I got 12.6k rank in vitee2021 can i get IT in category 1? should i wait till the last phase or apply in category 2?

Hello,
IT is one of the most admired course by the aspirants and there's a considerable amount of competition to get IT you should have a rank above 6000 but as every year situation is different you have a fair chance to get in, you have a strong possibility to get the admission in category 2.
You can get VIT Bhopal in category 1.
