I got485 marks.I didnt get any mbbs in both 1st and 2nd round Telangana.Iam from general cat.Shall i wait for 3 rd round or go to longterm

- This year the admission cut-offs for medical colleges have taken a hike. They have gone very high.
- Last year the admission cut off for government medical college in Telangana were between 493 to 570 for UR candidates under the 85 percent state quota. And the admission cut-offs for private medical colleges were between 410 and 527.
- So this year, the cut-offs are higher than those of last year.
- This narrows your chanve to get admission into a govt. college.
- However, you should still go up to the third round of counselling as in this round, usually the seats given up by other candidates, are made available for allotment.
- You can also try out for the private colleges.
